Youngstock's Nursery & Produce — Attraction in Bellingham

I will never go back to that market again. I watched the owner John aggressively yell at a customer because she asked to exchange her rotten fruit...then as I was infuriated and leaving my cart with stuff in it...I heard and seen him yelling at 2 employees because they were not unloading the delivery truck fast enough...in the past I have seen those two do nothing but work their asses off. I found out one was his son. I have googled Youngstocks and all that comes up is negative reviews. I think its time to maybe call health dept....L& I....someone....If he doesnt care about his customers, employees and business....what makes people think he cares about food he brings in to sell to the public. The quality has gotten bad over last 2 yrs....oh and to JOHN (the ass who owns the place)...its sad to see that your life is so pathetic you have to treat others and your kin like dirt. Maybe you should look in the mirror and realize you should get off your high horse and work your ass off for a change. Not hard going around bossing everyone is it. Man up....and do your own work. I hope one day everyone just up and walks out on you. Your son could find work where he would be treated way better. also remember....when your old old ....who in your family is going to want to take care of you...think about that as your shouting at your son...cause he may not be there when you need...

I am currently sitting in the parking lot after being assaulted by the owner. Please take your business elsewhere this man is extremely rude and aggressive.when I asked if they had any organic produce he got very rude and short with me but stupidly I decided to continue my shopping when I went to check out I had one more complete instead of addressing my complete he started yelling at me she can use finger in my face and then threatened to call the police when I was calmly addressing a single complaint. I might add but I have my one year old daughter with me and this kind of treatment is not only not appreciated but quite infuriating to a mama bear. He said he doesn't care at all about my business and that I was to get out of his store he then grabbed my hand and was very aggressive growth returning to call the police for what I ask complaining? What a terrible way to run a business depressing way to live your life full of so much anger. He said after being in business for 41 years he did not care about my business whatsoever please don't let him care about yours either shop elsewhere. There are many places in town to get good prices on produce while supporting people with good business practices and not people who abuse their customers because they've been in a location...

I stopped in late in the day a couple days ago and found the quality very poor. Most vegetables were ok but the most fruits were old, mushy and moldy. I bought the best available and after getting home, it was just moldy and rotten strawberries, cherries and bananas over ripe. Today I returned the items with receipt and told they only give store credit when I asked to just get my money back. I won’t be back. This place has really gone down hill with quality and has really poor customer service. It’s really sad because I really liked this place...
