Honestly, I’m pretty disappointed in this place. My girlfriend and I have been wanting to go and try out Beach Haus food because reviews said it was really good, but from the second i walked into the place… I didn’t have a good feeling. First was very confused walking in where everything was. I had no idea they had 2 separate restaurants inside. Once we figured out, that the very top of the roof is small foods and mainly drinks and then the middle floor is where they serve food and have the other restaurant that I mentioned. First off, the place NEEDS a greeter. Somebody who can direct and explain the place to people who are new and haven’t been there before. Being confused right from the jump is just annoying. We seated ourselfs as the hostess directed and waited for somebody to come over. Only, we started waiting and we didn’t have anybody bring over menus, place settings, or wipe down our somewhat dirty table for 15 minutes. Hostess ended up coming by and asking if we needed menus, for her not to show up with them. We ended up leaving the place. I have worked in the restaurant business since I was 15 years old (now I’m 22) and NEVER would I ever let a customers sit there emptied handed or not reassured that somebody was going to come and take care of them. On the way out, we see all of the staff in kinda of a circle I guess talking to each other… ??? idk. This economy is crazy at the moment and my girlfriend and I don’t get to get out much and go on a nice date. We weren’t expecting no 5 star dinner service, but barely any service is just not worth our money. There are some great places around Belmar and we found one within 10 minutes of walking around. It’s a real damn shame too, because of all the reviews on how good...

I wish I could give Beach Haus Brewery more than 5 stars. We hosted our wedding here at the end of September, with roughly 90 guests. Beach Haus provided a lovely ceremony next to their brewing tanks and an amazing private reception.
“This is the way weddings should be”, “I wish I could redo my wedding here”, “This was the most fun and memorable wedding I’ve been too” … were just a few of the comments we have received from our guests.
Our goal with wedding planning was stress free and fun… We worked with Erika Gibbons from the very beginning, and she helped us to not only achieve but exceed this goal. Who said wedding planning must be stressful? Erika and her team also kept things running smoothly, before, during, and after the wedding, even helping other vendors we hired as needed. There was a point where our DJ was having technical issues, Erika and her team stepped right in and played music on their house speakers to fill the gap… while also making sure our drinks were full! We cannot say enough good things about the Beach Haus Brewery staff. Each member of the team truly went above and beyond to make sure our wedding day went as smoothly as possible.
Food and drinks were amazing. We chose to do stations, where guests could serve themselves, with a few beers on tap, wine, an awesome sangria, and a seltzer… I personally loved their Oktoberfest Beer, 10/10, and all our friends loved their Swash Beer.
I cannot recommend Beach Haus Brewery highly enough, whether you’d like a nice night out on their rooftop bar or a full-blown wedding...
Read moreRidiculous place to attempt to eat at. Staff seems oblivious. Both times I've gone here my girlfriend and I had to wait 10+ minutes for a greeting let alone a menu, the second time we never even got them and decided to bail. The first time we went the only thing that saved the place was the food which was above average for bar food (not saying a ton since the bar is so incredibly low here at the shore) but hey it was a good burger. Initially we had a drink on the rooftop bar during the summertime before moving downstairs for food, the servers were completely overwhelmed and as a result they were in fact selling LESS drinks than they potentially could have. Stupid handheld point of sale systems created even more of a bottleneck as they seemed to struggle with that as well when it was time to pay.
For me the last straw(s) during our second visit were watching one of the servers braid an off duty employees hair and then someone who looked like a kitchen worker coming out to the bar and shooting the breeze with a customer. It's remarkable how little everyone seemed to care especially in the off season when you would think it would be important to generate repeat customers. Dude, its a brewery...people come to DRINK so what is so hard about serving them beer?
The seat yourself model is awful as it relies on the waitstaff to determine who has been sat, it is an absence of communication in an industry where that is important. It really would be helpful to have a hostess/host to spread awareness of the situation on the floor at...
