Fun Atmosphere, mediocre food, illegal transactions. (Skip to the end for the illegal part) First of all, we thought the place was cute - two rooms where one was the bar area which was smaller with music and a chill atmosphere. The other was more roomy & open, brighter & quieter; a good place to bring the family. They've got a great outdoor area (when it's not sweltering outside) that I'm sure is a hot spot in the evenings. The staff was spunky and fun, so we were hopeful for a good first visit here! Being athletes ourselves (one ex-professional), my husband and I were excited to find a laid-back sports bar we could potentially come to watch a game and toss back a couple of cold ones. Sadly, we won't be returning here. We ordered sliders, a couple of small pizzas & a basket of wings. The food came out at completely different times; my husband has his pizza almost 10 minutes before the 2nd one came out, then came the two order of sliders & fries, then the wings last. By the time I finally got my wings, my husband's pizza was almost cold. "That's just the way it works here" was the answer I received when I asked where the other food was and why it didn't come out at the same time. STRIKE ONE The food itself wasn't anything special; sliders were clearly frozen patties seasoned with too much garlic powder; the 3 year old thought they were good, but he's three. The pizza was alright; nothing out of the ordinary and definitely not somewhere we'd come again for a pie. STRIKE TWO. Illegal Transaction Part: Then came time for the bill. The server asked if I was paying by card or cash. When I told her card, she asked for my card so she could run it in her little hand-held POS (point of sale) system. When I asked for the bill to look at first, she became almost nervous and hesitant to get it for me. When she brought it, I could clearly understand why. THEY CHARGE A 4% SURCHARGE FOR USING YOUR CARD TO PAY. But the best part? YOU DON'T EVER KNOW ABOUT IT. The only place they tell you is on the FINAL BILL, so if you don't ever ask to see it, you have no idea you're being charged. (SEE PICTURE) Charging a surcharge is illegal in Texas....especially without telling the customer they are going to be charged. Nowhere does it say there is a charge to use a card to pay your bill - not on the menu, not anywhere in the restaurant. Even the servers told me the only place you'll see it is on your bill. They told me that their POS system is used because it's "usually busier so this way you can pay and go on your way quicker [without having to provide receipts]....” What it really is, is a way for them to make more money off of you without you knowing it. I've worked in this industry for most of my life (managing & owning) & to not inform your customers they're being charged for something is not good business practices. As if the other two strikes weren't enough, this one tops the cake. A huge swing and a miss.

You literally can’t make this up! First and foremost, my boyfriend and I have been to Scores about six times in eight months. Out of the six times stopping by, our food has been correct three times. Whether it is eliminating an ingredient or just not getting what we’ve ordered, the kitchen staff can’t seem to get it right. The ONLY reason we continue to come by is because the location is convenient and the beer is cold; hence the one star. Tonight, I could no longer sit by and not express exactly how disgusting our experience has been. I’ll highlight below so there is not misunderstanding. The fact that management hasn’t stepped in and gotten this place under control is beyond me. The fact that the health department hasn’t been involved is disappointing. 1. I ordered a beer, none of the staff could figure out how to change out the keg. Okay, fine, I’ll order something else. 2. A member of the kitchen staff, who we have absolutely no confidence in, decided to come out and watch the game for a while. 3. The pizza we ordered was cold. The veggies weren’t even warm enough to call it pizza. It was so soggy we ate it with a knife and fork. Maybe less time in front of the tv would make the food better? 4. We watched a server clean her nails with her tongue and then serve customers! This is beyond disgusting. Pictures below for reverence. 5. Another member of the kitchen staff left the bathroom so smoky from his vape that I honestly had to just laugh and hope to God he washed his hands. 6. The manager or bartender (not sure who works here because there is no uniform, you just have to guess) had the bottle opener in her shorts, held by the elastic in her shorts and her skin. I was really glad that I ordered draft. As long as the nail licking server wasn’t involved. 7. Eating behind the bar. This is serving 101, it’s gross and unsanitary. I counted four of the staff eating fries behind the bar. I don’t know if tonight was fate telling me to forget convenience before I get Ecoli or worse, but we will not be back. I feel that after six times going to scores and the experience steadily getting worse, we are done. I encourage the owners or general managers to tighten up on their staff and the quality of experience because someone else will come in and do better. We really had high hopes for this place. Good luck!

We went here last weekend for a late lunch and were surprised to find it empty, there were 2 different sections and an outdoor patio section. We weren’t sure which door to go in and were a little confused upon entering. After looking around the waitress was like, oh, you can sit anywhere, on either side, so we choose what looked like the dining side vs the bar side since there was more light and we didn’t want to take up seats at the bar. The waitress was friendly and helpful when we asked questions about the menu since it doesn’t really describe what some of the appetizers are. The food was ordered and the appetizers came out first. We ordered the fried mushrooms, fried pickles, and pork rinds. They were all amazing especially with their homemade ranch! I could drink that stuff. I ordered wings, my dad ordered the Sandman Fries, and 2 of my kiddos ordered pizzas. The fries came out first, then both the pizzas…I was still waiting for my wings…we didn’t see the waitress for a little while because it was like she was literally the only server for all 3 sections the whole restaurant. When she came back by I asked about my wings and she went to check on them. She came back to the table and told me that she had forgotten to put the order in. She apologized and owned up to the mistake and said she was gonna put them in right away. I told her not to worry about it and that I was fine. (I will be back to try them eventually cuz I love wings and need to try them) I was a little disappointed, but I understand that mistakes happen and didn’t want to wait for them to be cooked after my teenagers were already almost done. The sandman fries were not the best. They were full of cheese that had hardened and made a huge mass of steak style fries. They were just okay. The Monsta pizza was good. Full of toppings, and stingy cheese. The Hall of Fame was burnt really bad on the bottom but my son was too hungry to ask them to recook it and he went on and ate it. He said it still tasted good. There were so many toppings on the pizzas that they were falling apart…messy but good. We will definitely go back if not just for the appetizers, but to also try their wings. Probably won’t get the fries again, but would like to try some of the other appetizers. All in all, not bad, but could have been better.
