The older guy was helpful and very sweet. However the younger guy with the red eyebrows was snarky and rude. I asked to use my points and he gave me the same total and told me most people save them - like ok I don’t care I want to use them. I then told my mom I was using my dads points and he went “I wonder how you’ll feel when someone uses yours” I then felt the need to explain that my dad is no longer drinking so doesn’t need liquor store points. Bemidji, for me is like the holy sight for all things crafted. It's big enough to find what you need, yet small enough for that hi how ya been greeting. Seems the diversity of culture and lifestyle has a place for whomever you are, came from, or seek to be. My personal plug would have to be the Dollar Tree, by Marketplace Foods. I love the fact that no matter what goes in the cart... It is a dollar. Makes my shopping a bit more enjoyable. Just because of that fact. Yup, I do amuse easily. Lol.. enjoy your day in...

I stop in at Bemidji First City Liquor for special occasions when I’m looking for a good single malt scotch or a wider beer selection. Their scotch and craft beer options are solid, and I can usually find what I need when other stores don’t have it.

Prices are on the higher side, though, which is why I don’t shop here regularly. If the prices were a bit more competitive, I’d come in more often.

Overall, it’s a clean store with a nice selection and worth a visit if you’re after...
