Barnco Woodworks — Attraction in Berlin

Having bought an 8x10's shed through Barnco, I bought my 14x30' garage through them as well. I had a concrete pad poured for it according to their specific dimensions, and the structure fit on it perfectly. The delivery crew had a lot of trouble getting it in place, with the ground being soft from recent rains, though eventually they got it settled.

The crew that came to finish the installation anchored it to the pad with expansion bolts and did a good job of installing the doors and touching up markings on the paint from installation.

I had custom "barn doors" built for a garage-door standard size (so they can be removed and a roll-up door installed later if desired) and the doors are lovely and fit well.

Overall, I am very happy with the structure. It's exactly as I requested, and well built. The only oddity which I didn't anticipate is the base of the wall is 6x6" pressure-treated beams, on top of which is fastened the traditional 2x4" sill plate, which was necessary for transportation and is normally part of the wood floor in a gravel pad installation. So I can't push shelves directly up against the walls, because the beam sticks out 2" further than the 2x4 sill plate. We love our shed and payment options just not the experience of getting our shed and the staff.

We purchased a shed that was on the lot but apparently was already sold. We were told this even after the staff checked their records and confirmed it was available for purchase. The shed was then remade which took about 3 weeks.

The shed was delivered 3 hours late because the driver hit a tree with our shed in transit and then had to repair. At the property, the driver almost tipped the entire shed over, got the dolly stuck, and tore up multiple places in my yard.

We added on a takeaway ramp to move our mower and other items into the shed and were told it was available for pickup at the store a few days later. When we went to pick it up, the staff said they didn’t have it because they forgot to make it. Then when we received the ramp and tried installing it, the ramp measurement was too big and the kick plate would not install floor...

We purchased a 12'x24' building that is a garage in the front half and a screened room in the rear about 6 years ago. We love being able to sit outside without worrying about the bugs. The quality of the craftsmanship was superb. Over time, some of the door hardware became damaged due to wear and tear. We also lost both keys to the garage so we could not lock it. I called Sam on a Thursday and he was at the house by Saturday morning. He brought us 2 new keys and also fixed the closer and the handle on the screen door in back. When I asked Sam how much he said he wasn't sure if there was a charge and would let me know. He called me the following Monday to tell me that they decided that since we bought the unit from him and it wasn't too big a job that there would be no charge. I can't recommend Barnco enough for their quality craftsmanship and outstanding...
