The staff here is always so friendly and helpful!

They do key cutting, which is great because I needed 10 copies of two different keys on a Saturday afternoon.

They have plenty of paint supplies and spray paint, but not a huge selection of caned paint. Which is unsurprising considering it is so small. Still, very useful for a sudden paint job issue you don't want to have to go all the way to a highway for!

If they don't have something they will happily point you on a direction to find a place that does, which is really useful for those terrible important but tiny...

Rude. Rude. Rude. I thought the first couple of times I went the older lady with the British accent was having a bad day but it turns out she's just plain rude. The other gentlemen were helpful and at least cordial to kind as other reviews pointed out.

I hate leaving bad reviews. I will say I'm glad the hardware store exists locally. All other hardware stores are much further. Ace hardware is opening a few blocks away. I do hope bernardsville hardware survives. Hopefully the competition is helpful for customer service...

Today, right at 5:30 closing time, the lady locked the door as I was walking up, which had me considering a very different review…but then the young man there took pity on me and my daughter and let us come in to grab what we needed. The other lady at the register was very sweet to my daughter as well, greatly appreciated considering the circumstances. So despite the rough start, they get 5 stars from me.

Aside from this moment, it’s a great place- I love to shop locally when I can, even if it’s a bit more expensive,...
