I hadn’t been to this movie theater since the beginning of Covid and let me tell you they have gone downhill. When I looked on their website I was pretty excited about the order ahead option. I ordered my tickets and our concessions online. I was instructed by the email I received from them to skip the line and go to the kiosk to pick up our tickets and concessions. When I got there the ticket kiosk had a sign saying closed. So I went to the other side where there was a pick up time. I stood there for about 15 minutes with Staff just glancing at me and not saying a single word. I finally gave up and got in a line to be told that I need to go to the kiosk that had a closed sign. After pointing out that the kiosk side closed they finally helped me in the regular line. My popcorn and drinks were not ready even though I had gotten an email saying they were. I went to the side of the theater that our movie was playing on to fill up my soda and found two employees working on both machines trying to replace the syrup. They were laughing and joking having a good ole time while the line got longer. We eventually went to the other side where there is just one soda machine and waited in line some more. When we got done filling our drinks we realized there were no lids. So then we walked back to the other side where they were still working on the machines to find a lid. We got there around 7:35 and weren’t able to go look for a seat until 8:10 and that’s with ordering everything ahead! In addition to this everything was filthy there were spilled drinks and popcorn everywhere. Even the trash cans outside were covered in filth and the concrete around them stained and sticky. There was all kinds of trash all over the sidewalk leading in and out of the building. This used to be an awesome movie theater that my wife and I loved going to almost weekly. Unless we see huge improvements I can’t see us going there again.

This theater was clean except for the bathroom, which was pretty bad, otherwise would have given 6 stars because the customer service was good, the seats were comfy and the movie was great.

When we walked in they were cleaning the walls above the popcorn machine, and all the ovens. Let alone moving the ladder with cleaning products on top of it 🤦🏻‍♀️

I only selected 1 star because 0 stars is not an option. This is my first time to this or any AMC and we will NEVER be returning.

  1. Purchased my tickets online through a non-intuitive website.
  2. Discovered I have to have to be an A-lister to reserve seats. Are you kidding me? Have you ever been to Cinemark. Every seat reserved, and every seat is a recliner.
  3. Downloaded the app hoping it would make the movie-going experience better, but it's clunky and useless.

I'm just getting started...

  1. We arrived to a dirty, understaffed theatre. I know times are hard, but if you can't even offer basic levels of service, you should just stay closed.
  2. Navigated to an auditorium to find our seats. Unsure of when this place was cleaned. My guess is last month.
  3. Severely understaffed with only one employee running all of the concessions (there were three earlier, not sure where the other two disappeared to).
  4. Sat through 27 minutes of previews (including two AMC commercials) It's probably a good thing though because otherwise I would have missed the first half of the movie standing in the concession line.
  5. Also on previews...the movie we're here to see is 2.5 hours long! Why are you adding another 30 minutes to my babysitter bill?
  6. Finally the movie starts, but with no employee oversight or supervision, no one checking tickets, teenagers were getting up and running around and in and out of the auditorium, talking LOUDLY throughout the movie.
  7. Someone interrupts the movie shining a flashlight in people's eyes. It's a police officer. Awesome.
  8. Police physically remove a patron.
  9. Police return and IN THE AUDITORIUM, DURING THE MOVIE question people that were sitting near the apprehended patron.
  10. Feeling neither clean nor safe, my wife asked that we leave, about and hour into the movie.
  11. Now back at home and wondering how Peter Parker is going to save the day I try to figure out how to get my money back. On the AMC website, it simply states that you can get a refund before the movie start time, but includes no information for other circumstances.
  12. Click on the "Contact Us" on their website, it takes me to a page that says "We want to hear from you" but provides no place to write anything and only includes a list of help topics.
  13. To the socials! I try Facebook first...sending a DM. I'm warmly greeted by a bot who tells me they are experiencing a high volume of contacts and they'll help me when they can. I responded (briefly) with my concern, but that was 30 minutes ago and I haven't heard back.

I'm off to Twitter to see if anyone is listening there. If you are considering attending this theatre, I advise you to reconsider (unless you enjoy wasting time trying to get a refund while your angry wife...

I was very disappointed with the services provided. This theater regularly does a discounted ticket day once a week, and while that is greatly appreciated by many members of the community, I believe that this led to some very poor planning on their part. This theater has 4 registers in a ticket window for selling tickets and two long counters for concessions. I decided that I wanted to go see Beauty and the Beast the week after it opened on the discounted ticket day so I got to the theater 15 minutes early thinking that would be enough time to get my ticket and get into the theater.

The problem I (and everyone else there) ran into was that the theater was severely understaffed. I waited in a line for 30 minutes to get tickets to an evening showing. They integrated the concessions and ticket lines into one and only had 4 people working, this meant that those of us that wanted to just buy a ticket and skip the concessions had to wait for those that were purchasing the concessions. This shouldn't have happened and showed a severe lack of planning on the part of the theater management. Beauty and the Beast was expected to be the first big family blockbuster of the year and having a discounted ticket day the week following the opening weekend I would think a theater would be smart enough to bring on extra help and not run the ticket line and concession line together. Thankfully I didn't miss the movie by the time I got my ticket, but it was still cutting it...
