Had a subwoofer box and amp installed in my Challenger. They did a great job and it thumps hard! Price was reasonable and he really knew what he was talking about when it came to all facets of car audio. Would definitely recommend and will be back to see them if I decide to upgrade door and dash speakers.

Three and a half years ago, my husband bought me a remote start for $730 from Pro Auto and had them install it in my new Honda CRV as my Christmas present. Pro Auto assured us that they would assist with any issues that might arise and that they stand behind their products. About a year after, I left my car sitting for about five days while we went on a trip, and came back to a dead car. We jumped it, ran it for a while, but the battery would no longer hold a charge. We replaced it with a new battery, and it seemed to be fine, but we called Pro Auto to ask if it might be the remote start that killed the battery. We were told that there’s no way that it’s the remote start. Must just be a bad battery. Both my husband and I called a few more times but always got the same answer. “No, no way it’s the remote start.” They even hung up on my husband once, tired of answering the same question. Never did they offer to take a look, even when I stopped by in person with my car.

I had a few other issues with the remote start such as it not relaying back to the remote that the car had started but never got any help from Pro Auto when I asked. They’re only concern was that the remote was starting the car, which it was. I drive my car every day to work and it is usually the car we take on road trips, so it is rarely left for any length of time…until this last April again, when we went out of the country for two weeks on vacation. We came back, it was dead again, and we went through a similar situation as before. We replaced the battery again that would no longer hold a charge, and I took it into the Honda dealership since Pro Auto wasn’t helpful the first time. Honda measured the amperage draw on the battery with the remote start connected (0.035 with spikes about every minute to 0.158) and with it disconnected (0.009). Obviously, the remote start was draining my battery, so they took it out of my car.

Last week, I went into Pro Auto to return the remote start and give them the opportunity to make the situation right. I was told that if I had brought it in, they would have taken a look at my car. I told them the numerous times that my husband and I called the first time we had the issue, we were never given that option, even when I stopped by in person. “Well, the dealership always says it’s the after-market equipment that is causing the issues.” Sure they do, but here’s the thing… they’re usually right, as in this case. The three gentlemen continued to blame me and refused to return the remote start, so I am writing this review to warn others to avoid this business. I am now out over $1000 between the original cost of the remote start, two batteries, and the labor it took Honda to figure out that the issue was, indeed, the remote start that Pro Auto installed in my car. Pro Auto does not stand behind their products and services as they portray.

_______ In response to owner's response My husband didn't call back for a manager because he was treated so rudely and hung up on by Jarrett, the owner, over a year ago when this first happened. Last month was the second time the remote start killed my car battery, which I explained last week. At this point, it is not worth additional time and energy to continue arguing, so I will not be pursuing any further contact with you or...

If you have lots of money to waste and like to be treated rudely and be lied to about why your stereo doesn't work right when they are done with their install then this is the place for you! I don't know about you but when I take my things to a "professional" I expect them to work and look nice when I get them back, after all that is why we are putting our hard earned money out there right? If I wanted it to look like some back alley crackhead did it I would take it to one. Maybe back in the day this used to be a good shop and they turned out good work but those days have passed, the only thing they are interested now is your money and doing absolutely as little as they can to get it from you and not caring what the products look like that they turn out. And don't think of taking things back to them to get fixed cause they will make up excuses on how how it's not their fault that it dosent work. Save yourself a bunch of time and money and take your cars trucks boats bikes and planes to somebody else! There is several small guys in town that do killer work and stand behind what they do but they do have a longer wait time cause they take the time to do it right and make it look nice, if you can't wait that long then take a little drive to Bozeman and go see the guys at Sound Pro, great guys, great service, and no run around and BS stories why you stereo dosent work.

Update: they said they want to make it right and to call them but my issue is that they had the rig on 3 different time for all day and if you can't get it right when you have that much time then I'm sorry but not happening again. Was very less then thrilled when we pulled it apart the other day to do some other work and found that the good speakers were replaced with less expensive ones. Never ever again will I or any of my buddy's deal with this place, go to Bozeman and see sound pros, great guys and they treat you and your rig with respect and only sell you...

Updated: Thanks for the update Jarrett just stopped by! EVERYONE Game Back On cause Jarrett's back! Go check it out!

Update: Since Jarett has left Pro Auto has gone down hill in every way except for installs cause I do my own installs so I can't say. Still would refer people to Pro Auto or Best Buy & NOT Good Vibrations.

If you want your install done right put your $ where your mouth is, go see Jarett. Or you can go over to Good Vibrations...but I wouldn't send someone I hated there.....However Pro Audio isn't the same without Jared & I mean that in every way. He knows the ins & outs of the industry not to mention he is a hell of a sales man. Hopefully be back again soon because the staff there don't even come.close to filling the position or responsibility he held. My boyfriend and/or I have been back a few times knowing exactly what we needed/wanted & the staff tried to make a sale when all we went in for was 5ft of 4-gauge wire another time all we needed was an adapter for an aftermarket install. But they are doing their best & now seem to know the sales talk isn't necessary with us because the only difference between us & them is the shop ($$$$$) but that's why...
