I cannot say enough great things about this pawn shop. Biloxi Pawn and Jewelry is one of the very best I have ever visited. I am from the Austin area and whenever we travel east we stop in Biloxi to visit these folks. I know my pawn shops. Most every piece of jewelry I own was purchased from one from Texas to Florida. Good pawn shops and great pawn brokers are a dying breed. Chains like National Pawn, Top Cash Pawn, etc., are NOT true pawn shops. They are more of a discounted Walmart. Prices are set and they buy low to sell high. Of course they lend money against your property. But they make a great deal of money doing so and seldom offer nothing near your propertys' value. There is no decision making abilities at the store level. Rather buying, selling and lending are all fixed numbers assessed by corporate shirts who maintain a more than healthy bottom line. Biloxi Pawn and Jewelry is independently owned. Real pawn brokers are on site and they will go above and beyond to get and keep your business. my husband loves the tools and firearm choices they have in stock. I favor the jewelry and computer inventory. we walked in yesterday with jewelry to trade and a vision and walked out with not only exactly what we wanted but the best deal anyone could have offered. The worst service i have ever gotten. When in at 4pm looked at there laptops for that long came across 2 that seemed ok so asked to check them out one did not come on at all the 2ed one did everthing seemed fine but said it needed update and at this time it was 4:50pm the guy there informed me he would be closeing and if i wanted it i needed to buy it i said if anything is worng with it can i get a refund he said sure bing it back tomorrow . so i got home started update windows informed me that windows 8 would nolonger be supported i needed upgrade to 8.1 or window 10 so i bring the thing back to the pawn store the guy that i bought the laptop from informed me that he would have to have his pc guy look at it and it would take a feq days becuase it was friday. So come monday i call to see if it is ready and i was spoken to rudely says we have no fixed laptop and hung up on. So i waited till later to called ask thw lady who answered the phone about laptop she told me it was right here with my name on it. Then i go there to pick up the laptop only to be informed that he couldn't fix it but i was welcome to find one that they had there but none of them worked so i wanted refund like he promisesed me. I was then told i could take the broken one or one there...
