Disappointing Experience Despite a Beautiful Atmosphere We visited Azteca Mexican restaurant Unfortunatly did not have a good experience. We were there with a large party. We waited over an hour just to have our order taken, and we were there for nearly three hours total with no drink refills offered even once. The margarita and the mojito were both disappointing. When the food finally arrived, it was also disappointing, carne asada tacos came out cold and unexpectedly had pineapple in them and did not look like carne asada. When I pointed this out to the staff (even showing the pieces I picked out), I was met with dismissive and argumentative responses, including being told to “read the description on the menu.” At that point I told the staff I didn't want the food and I just won't eat.The manager came out and asked what I wanted. He then brought out carne asada tacos as I asked. However they ended up bland and dry. Between the long wait, cold food, lack of basic service, and unprofessional behavior from the staff, we left extremely disappointed. First of all me and my husband stop by today, We wasn’t sure what was wrong last time we came, which it was wile ago, So we didn’t remember until we start eating our food. He has a lamb taquitos he did liked them but they came with ranchero beans, He said that the frijoles were with no taste at all and also were cold , I order enchilada plate , well those tortillas were hard and have no taste at all Same thing with the chicken no taste at all, The sauce that was over was only good looking but no taste at all I have to add a lot of the sauce from the chips so the rice and beans can taste little better, Another thing we ask for a limenade, And the waiter said well we have only that one we buy already made she even told me is that one that called Minute Maid at store because we don’t make it here. And that right there is a big shame to that Testaurant name “ Azteca “ Last and very important thing was that they took us all the way to back and set us on side bench, That right there it makes no sense at all just because it was at more then 10...

I was really disappointed with my experience here. Our server was not friendly at all, she seemed irritated from the moment we sat down. I ordered a chille rellono, and it wasn’t dipped in batter and fried the way it’s supposed to be made, which was really disappointing. When I tried to politely bring it up, the waitress immediately got defensive and just wanted to argue. She told me they do chille rellonos differently than "the rest of the world," which felt dismissive and unhelpful.

On top of that, she refused to take it off the check even though it was an a la carte item that only cost six bucks. I hadn’t even taken a single bite, but she still made sure to charge me for it. She never asked if I wanted to speak to a manager, and seemed more interested in being right about how they prepare chille rellonos differently than the traditional way.
