The Sanctuary - Biloxi — Attraction in Biloxi

The Sanctuary at Biloxi is definitely a unique stay. You can tell they put a lot of thought and effort into the room designs and decorations. The rooms are really fun and the attention to detail is noticeable. I really loved the Saint Vitus. Unfortunately, you can tell this is an old building as the walls are paper thin. You can hear people talking in their normal voices in other rooms. There also isn’t an elevator to get up to the rooms, so do not stay here if you can’t go up a flight of stairs. The owner, Jason, is not the friendliest fellow. I understand he has a business to run and takes it seriously in order to prosper but I had a few situations that weren’t handled the best. Jason, along with a couple other staff members, could brush up on some customer service. We had a large group that showed up and sold out the venue and we had a great time. The venue itself is really neat with the stain glass windows. They have done well with lighting and the sound system is amazing. The food truck didn’t show up, so that was a bummer for attendees. Paid a good chunk of change for VIP seating on the balcony to find that it was overcrowded with tables, causing difficulty to see the stage performer. We would have likely been better off paying for the cheaper standing tickets downstairs, so beware, but the space itself is quite nice. I will say, the owner did come around the VIP section and ask how everyone was doing. She did try to see what accommodations she could make with seating, but with a sold out show options were limited. She later saw us stepping outside and I found it very nice that she remembered who we were and asked if we were leaving. We weren’t, but I’m assuming she asked in an effort to prevent that. This place is wonderful!!!!! Very eclectic, almost taboo drinking in an old church on a pew, but a great feeling! It smells and feels clean! Plenty of room, a great dance floor, great ambiance and the dj placement is awesome 😂 (you must go and find out where he/they spin from) try the smoked sausage plate from the food truck outside!! Erica my bartender was superb and honestly the most beautiful, great and funniest person I’ve ever met in my life. If the place was made out of a cardboard box I’d go back just to get a drink from her! A must try if not just once, but multiple times!
