Boyd brand hotels have the best value proposition for players. And you don’t need to be a big better to get comped rooms, meals, and services.
When you noticed the difference in 6:5 and 3:2 blackjack and what a winning casino feels like versus a losing with a bad pretentious vibe casino you’re ready for imperial Palace Biloxi, which in my opinion is a far better casino than the Beau Rivage in any national brands like Harrah, Hard Rock… for clarification, I am not a big player getting VIP treatment. In fact, I am in the lower tier of their rewards program.
I am on my 3rd visit . I can tell you after staying at ritz Carlton’s and “ five star “hotels the team at this hotel is the best I’ve ever seen.. A special shout out to Mark a blackjack dealer the best best I’ve ever seen anywhere hands down even the “pit bosses are very friendly without judgment like the grumpy curmudgeons you are used to seeing Another shout out to Michelle at the front desk for check-in. She is friendly warm and even gave us an anecdotal story about positivity that her grandmother told her Michelle is an excellent start to your trip. Give her a raise. Same to the cocktail, waitresses , server (red hair main restaurant , machine, attendance, and even the janitorial staff. Anomaly good. . Maybe it’s partly the southern hospitality? A cult😁? Southern hospitality??
The guest are friendly. The camaraderie and conversations at the tables is as good as I’ve ever se…Not big fan of the bougie pretentiousness some “5 star” hotels. Real people, not idiotic, drunk players doing eye rolling splitting of 10s
I had been to Biloxi a few times and stayed at the Beaurivage. There is no comparison. IP feels like they have winners, smart, gamblers, higher payouts, and more player, friendly rules. it’s an overall vibe thing
The dealers are fast, accurate, helpful friendly. Surprisingly, the best I have seen it. Any casino.
In Vegas, I had stayed at Alliante a few years ago an off strip boutique hotel, and it’s my new favorite spot in Vegas. I just realized how many properties Boyd has across the country and I see this pattern.. props to the Boyd leadership for building this brand for players and you don’t have to be a big better to take advantage of the comp program. The imperial Palace must be with a nice kids from Chick-fil-A go to work as adults
I’m bringing my entire team back in December 12th
The rooms not amazing. They are a little dated, but they’re not dirty and there’s no stains in the carpet and damage but CLEAN. But then again, I’m a bit of a travel, diva and I’m used to high-end hotels it would be nice to see rooms updated and have walk-in showers instead of the tub shower combinations. This is beyond the control of the hotel management hopefully Boyd corporate would consider some budget for this property but then again I don’t care if they don’t because I don’t want it to be crowded every time I visit
Nevertheless, I would rather stay and play here, even if I had a suite comp at the Beau Rivage. The common areas are nice and very well maintained. The machines are not as crowded. They are in small pods far apart.. it would be mine better on weekends if more tables were open they can get quite crowded so I tend to play tables in the morning and machines at night.
The first time I came here, I never would’ve thought it would end up being my favorite casino in the country sprinkled in with a few trips to Vegas at the Aliante the best property in Vegas. Too bad Biloxi does not have more direct flights Not a fan of New Orleans flying to MSY and driving here
Well, done Boyd team and hotel management. I was not asked, encouraged or compensated to do this review people often take the time to write negative reviews and complain Having said that I would disregard a lot of the reviews here I am looking forward to bringing eight of my employee/team members here in...
Read moreThis is the first time I have written a scathing review of any place I have ever been. I know customer service and this needs to be known. It's sad that I am having to do this, just sad.
I was very disappointed! We stayed in the king spa suite. For starters make sure all parties that are staying in the hotel/room with you are listed with the front desk. I happen to not of been listed. My wife got the stomach bug, I went to get some medicine and when I got back The key stopped working. The rule is if you are not listed they can not assist in any manner. You will be stuck in the lobby, until someone comes down from the room. Even if they are carrying the trash can from the room to vomit in. The customer service here is very bad! It has to start from the top down. The level of amenities are very poor. All the way down to the single ply TP in the bathroom! The view here was ok, however at night there are huge spotlights that shine on the building and you have to use the blackout curtains for sleeping.... Blah. Also the beds are not very comfortable, lumpy. The show takes for ever to get warm.
On to the dining experience. The food for breakfast had very little flavor and was not a good value at all, in any sense. Tein was ok ... Average, the staff was nice. Bayview Cafe for breakfast, was very bad for food. The staff was nice. I got the Colorado omelette. I actually went to IHOP and got to Colorado on what because it pissed me off so bad. See photos of a real Colorado omelette! Colorado would be very pissed and send lawyers here to take it off the menu.. The Omelette was as thick as a piece of toast, sad. My lovely sidekick did enjoy the pancakes, at least that was acceptable. Walking around in the casino to try and find places to dine at was very confusing and seemed kind of like a maze, forcing you to walk through the gaming areas. We thought it would be cool to hit the arcade however it was closed and only open during Friday and Saturday.
Why would I complain to anyone about this they know what a subpar hotel they're running. We will never come back here ever again it is the worst hotel experience we've ever had, from a so-called luxury hotel.
The only caveat I can even think of to this entire experience would be the people that are coming here,...
Read moreAfter staying here in my hotel room on February 8, 2022 I learned that the room is poorly illuminated, and so it's not possible to examine it for filth without a flashlight should I get the courage to take a good look at where my vulnerable skin and scalp will be exposed.
The AC blows loudly to narrowly distribute the stale and clammy air.
The room is half the size as advertised .... the shower has the water pressure of the drinking fountain for my cats.
There's no blanket; just 3 cheap sheets with something very thin between the 2 top sheets, but I was too demoralized to examine.
I called housekeeping and got a seemingly clean blanket. It didn't feel like there was a matress pad, but I was too afraid to look as a result of what I'd see if I looked underneath the covers.
The good part is that the room is close to the casino, and so I could rest and watch TV inside of my assigned dungeon in between gambling sessions.
Lastly, the price at $69 wasn't worth a complaint. I got less than expected, but from the looks of the rooms on the website, I expected not much more than I got.
The hotel staff kindly listened to these concerns at checkout, and advised that I ask for modifications of some...
