This establishment need better management. There are 2 servers, a short male (let's call him server A) and a bigger male with glasses (let's call him server B). They both look young and clueless. The food was ok, some are good, some not so good. However, the service was definitely terrible. I ordered a rice with grill pork and bun bo hue. The bun bo hue wasn't good, just average. The rice with grill pork taste pretty good but way too much fat. As I was sitting there, I saw server A messed up the whole order from the other table. They ordered eggrolls and he gave them Spring rolls. They ordered curry shrimp and he gave them curry chicken. That server was really clueless. He needs a lot of training. My problem started when I placed 2 to go orders. It was for 2 combination deep fried noodles. There are a couple tables coming in at once. Both of the servers were not capable of handling the rush. I waited for 20 minutes then went to the counter. I stand there for 15 minutes. Both of the servers just ignored me. Server B were packing to go food for someone else. He had to look at the ticket 4 times. He just let me stand there without saying anything like "Sorry for the wait, your food is not ready yet" or something. I saw the fried noodles already done about 10 minutes ago but I didn't see the meat and vegetables. I knew that they forgot my food. I was very upset. I told server A "You guys forgot to make my food. It has been a while. I don't want it anymore". The server A said it's almost ready but I said I don't want it anymore. He told server B because server B always told him what to do. I told server B that I've been waiting too long and I don't want the to go food anymore. He started to argue with me that it's only been a couple minutes. At this point, I've already lost it. However, I told server B that I just want to pay for my dine in food RIGHT NOW. Server B called to the kitchen and see if they are making the meat and vegetables for the deep fried noodles. They told him no. Of course, they forgot all about it It only take about 5 minutes to make and I ordered before the rush (only 2 tables when I placed my to go order). Then he told the kitchen not to make my to go order because I canceled it.
Sorry for the long complaint. I just had to get it out of my system. The owner better give them more training or something. Otherwise, this will drive customers away quick. Some food are pretty good, even though some...
Read moreThis is just based off of my experiences, nobody else's. I'm sure everyone experiences at this restaurant are different than others. I work not very far from this restaurant and thought it'll be the perfect spot to get fried rice whenever I'm on lunch break. Yes, I love their rice which is amazing. So I thought I found a really good spot. Except, I was mistakenly wrong. The first day I visited this place on lunch break, a interracial couple, another black gentleman, and I were told that they DO NOT accept credit cards. So, I didn't have anytime to run to a ATM. I chucked it up as bad timing on my behalf. But still, I wanted to try their rice. It was amazing. I enjoyed it. So, I ordered. Again, and again up until today. I always call my order in before I show. Usually, no problems at all. But I noticed something; people were paying with credit cards! I watched several people (not my color) pay with credit cards, but I was told that they didn't accept credit card payments. Then, as I became first to the counter, I was told that they forgot to put my order in. No problem. I understand things happen. I don't throw tantrums in public places over food because it's simply not that serious. So I said ok, and I was very polite the entire time. She then totaled my order and said it'd be $13 dollars and 91 cents. I thought like, huh? So, this entire time they were charging me 3 dollars more than what the meal originally was, and I order the same thing every time. I said to myself, hmmm, no wonder they only wanted cash. I remained polite, humble, and respectful, even though also, what I ordered was not in the bag. My entire order was messed up and I still said, "Thanks, and God bless". This is why I don't go to certain businesses in rural populated areas because more than likely, your service isn't wanted, and you'll be overpriced for your things....
Read moreAlmost empty restaurant which I did not expect, because it used to be packed. I ordered pho, and spring rolls and a sweat tea... I found out why it was empty, and yes all the reviews about being ignored by the server is true ... I had a young lady get my order. After she brought tea she came back with the pho and the greenery that goes in it, plopped in table and turned I said I also ordered spring rolls to her back......cuz she didn't look back at me when I said ma'am.....she said oh yeah.....and went to put the tray up and sat back down at her table to finish her meal......I am not saying your not supposed to eat, but you should make sure ur customers don't need anything first...the table across from me also needed refills and Togo stuff. I went to the counter where another lady was prepping cilantro. She apologized and got my spring rolls and tea. I told her the other table needs a server. She spoke to the girl in Vietnamese. The server sighed heavy went over to the table picked up cups went and got one bowl to go for the two people that had left overs. The customer then sent her back for three more. When I got done eating I went to the lady behind counter asked for to go things. Went back to table packed food up.....then back to the counter I go to pay......the server came from her table to cash me out.....I paid. As a former server I ALWAYS tip well..but today in my 20 years as living as an adult I didn't. I cashed out with my card and gave the lady prepping the tip....I don't know if this is how the place is now, but I have never had t self service in a dine in place nor have I had to here before....
