Imagine a place that captivates you while you are driving... This place screams "WE NEED TO STOP AND GET OUR FAMILY SOME POST CARDS" as if it was written on the billboard. You see the giant shark head and swing into their parking lot with a child like smile. Next you go up to the mandatory fun center they have by the stairwell or elevator. You take the classic cheesy photos riding the dolphin, or standing inside a sharks GIANT bite. You are elated and you haven't even made it into the store yet. Once inside your excitement comes crashing down like that bender from the previous week. You look around to mostly empty shelves and a workforce that remains at guard in there register squares. You are not greeted, you are shown that the life has been sucked out of them as much as it has the postcards I have attached for reference. We found them. We walked past the typical souvenir bs that is standard fair at these establishments, past the painted hermit crabs from hell and past the dead sea life for sale in their locked cabinets to find the postcards of our dreams. Nope. These bad boys are older than us and maybe even the store itself. Don't get me wrong, I love nostalgia as much as the next guy. But these things are old enough that even the boys on "American Pickers" would say to toss them out. Save yourself the disappointment and shop somewhere else.

Sharkheads – The Ultimate Gulf Coast Gift Shop (and Southern Geography Lesson!) If you're in Biloxi, Mississippi and don't stop at Sharkheads, you're missing out on one of the coolest, most well-stocked, and downright fun gift shops on the Gulf Coast. Located at 1703 Beach Blvd, this place is huge, clean, and packed with everything from classic souvenirs and beach gear to fun regional gifts and snacks. The selection is outstanding — whether you're looking for t-shirts, shells, home decor, or just a unique souvenir, Sharkheads has it all. You can easily spend an hour just wandering and finding things you didn't even know you needed. The parking underneath is shaded, which is a big win in the Mississippi heat, and the store itself is spotless and well-organized — a far cry from the cramped tourist traps you'll find elsewhere. And here's the best part — they sell a t-shirt with the actual Southern states on it. Not just the ones folks think are Southern, but the real ones that make up the Council of State Governments South (CSG South). That’s right — facts and fashion in one perfect package. Whether you're a local or just passing through, Sharkheads is a must-visit stop on your coastal adventure. Great products, friendly staff, and a gift shop that knows what real Southern pride looks like.

This was a good gift shop. Our family spent about $200 here and on our way out we wanted to visit the boardwalk real quick before leaving since it was right there. As soon as we walked over to the boardwalk the security guard prompted us to move our vehicle. I could see if we were staying at the beach and had our swim suits on and carrying a bunch of stuff but we literally just wanted to take a picture of the boardwalk sign and walk on the boardwalk for a few minutes before leaving. Our feet never touched the sand and we all were dressed with jeans , Jean shorts and t-shirts. We were customers of the gift shop and I can’t believe they didn’t let us walk on the boardwalk for a few minutes before leaving. We came all the way from Oklahoma and our first beach experience on this trip was very rude and hateful from the security guard who clearly has nothing else better to do then yell at family’s for trying to enjoy...
