City Walk Birmingham — Attraction in Birmingham

This may be the most disingenuous attraction the city of Birmingham has to offer. Public usage, private ownership. They close at 7, but not just the skate park and pickleball. This includes what appears to be public, unblocked benches and sidewalks. How dare I want to use a bench at 9pm. I didn't even know I was in this park at the time. No signs, no posted hours, nothing to signify I wasn't on public property. Just wanted to sit down after work on my way home. I honestly thought the 1st guy was kidding till 2 more showed up and demanded I leave. Crazy world when sitting on a bench is something...

Clean, open space with interesting features that invite walks under the viaduct. (Yes, you can get used to the sound of the interstate above.) The City Walk feels safe and inviting and offers great walking connections between art museum, the BJCC, and downtown hotels. You need vaccination proof for your dog and pay a fee to enter...
