We drove from Atlanta to Birmingham to see the Queens: Gladys Knight, Stephanie Mills, Patti Labelle, and Chaka Khan. We purchased parking in the Purple Lot ahead of time. Best decision ever. We literally parked and walked across the street to the venue. The crowd was elderly but that was to be expected because of who was on the show. Big kudos to the contractors who made sure there were plenty of benches in front of the arena. You almost never see that for these places. We went through security very quickly, although there were thousands of people coming through the gates. As soon as you walk in, you can identify where you will be sitting. I had to take an up escalator to my section. I was sitting in Section 129 Row V. Handicap seating. Best seating in the house. No one is sitting in front of you, and you are able to stretch your legs. Very comfortable. The ushers were on the job. Concessions were quick and easy, and affordable. The only downside is the sound was trash in the beginning, but they got it together very soon. It was an amazing show.

Went to see disturbed here last night. First off, the ticket prices were good, but then they tack on fees that are high. “Event parking” in the direct parking lot was another $30 fee which was absurd and there were no signs that said it was paid until you’re already stuck in the line. Security and check in was quick and everyone was nice. But…. The actual show was horrible. And I don’t mean the band. I’ve seen them plenty of times before and they do a great show. But this arena has HORRIBLE sound quality! The bass was way too high and overpowered the lyrics. It was extremely echoed and I was in section 102. It almost sounded like the only speakers were on at the stage and nowhere else in the arena. When he was just talking without the band playing, you could hear perfectly, but once the instruments got to playing again, they overshadowed and echoed the whole damn thing. There are also no screens. It was very disappointing and makes me not want to see concerts in big arenas and just stick to outdoor venues or small venues with good sound quality.

Honestly, my rating is strictly based on my experience at the New Edition concert only. I didn’t eat or drink nor did I use the facilities while there. Let me first say if you’re unfamiliar with the arena please pay for parking in advance or arrive in enough time to park and walk as needed. We were blessed to find $20 parking right across the street literally and that came in handy when leaving. We were in and out the parking lot before the crowds even came. Now, let’s discuss the arena. We had floor seats (row 18 seats 5-6) GREAT LOCATION from the stage. I’m 5’3 and he’s 6’2 PERFECT for him and as long as no one too tall was in front of me I didn’t have to stand on my toes *insert eye roll* OMG I could see everyone’s faces so clearly! Just so you know the first sections to the right or left are GREAT SEATS as well if you can get the first few rows. I would have loved to been on the side once I saw how close they were to the stage. Thanks for an awesome experience Birmingham this GA Peach enjoyed herself.

Attended the Trans-Siberian Orchestra concert (3:30 pm showing) on December 20, 2023. It was the first time the wife and I were at this venue. We had good seats in the upper section, stage left and had not difficulty reaching them. We arrived about 1 hour prior to the concert and parked in the garage next to the arena. Parking was $20. We waited outside in line until security allowed ticket holders through. Security was quick and easy and the assembled crowd quickly made their way through security and inside where tickets were scanned at the door. A short escalator ride up one level. We hadn't eaten so we got a hamburger, fries and a drink. The hamburger was bland and way overpriced. I found the fries to be crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside but the wife found them to be too salty. Since our seats were on the upper level we had one set of stairs to walk up to our section and another set of extremely angled stairs to traverse to our seats. If you are elderly or otherwise have difficulty walking up stairs you will have issues trying to get to your seat. I witnessed several elderly people experience great difficulty walking up the stairs to their seats. I assisted one elderly lady with her young female escort. The seats were comfortable but are wooden seat and back - elbow room is at a premium. Once seated because of the steep angle there was no difficulty seeing the stage nor the entire areana area below. Leaving after the concert was slow but orderly. There appeared to be ample bathroom accomodations and even the ladies line appeared to move quickly. After departing the arena we were parked on the first level of the garage and had to wait about 15 minutes for the traffic to move so we could back out of our space and let a peson coming in to see the next show take it but once in line it moved along and we were out of the garage in about 20-25 minutes from arrival and back out on the street. It was obvious this wasn't their first time and they moved traffic as quickly out of the venue area as possible thanks to security and police assistance. Overall the experience was a good one. I'd say the positives were getting a parking space (but that was because we got there an hour early and were attending the first show of the day); moving through secuirty, the escalator, finding our seat and once seated the view of the concert. The negatives were the price of food and quality of the hamburger (it was very pedestrian and I thought overpriced) and the acute angle of the seating made walking up the stairs in the seating section a challenge for my wife and...

We went as a group to see Mary J. Blige Good Morning Gorgeous tour with Ella Mai and Queen Naija. It was packed from the bottom to the tippy top. When I tell you they sung me from inside the Legacy Arena to the outside parking lot to where my car was. Honey, we was up in there sipping our frozen daiquiris and cutting a rug. Mary J did most of her classic hits and some of her new songs as well. We had an amazing time and we really enjoyed ourselves, everybody was hoarse the next day. I didn't even make it to the bed, I made a pallet on the floor in my bedroom. Lol. All of the ladies was wonderful and it was a perfect match. They had the lights, audio, real fire, fog smoke, digital and all of the screens going. I loved how they panned the camera over the crowd and put the people in the audience on the screen.

Take your debit card and cash in with you because some of the areas didn't take cash. Don't take a large purse in because sometimes they will turn you around. I would be livid if I had to walk all the way back to the car. Parking for me, was $30, that's the most expensive I've ever paid. It's normally $20 so I guess it's going up like everything else except for some people's pay. We were parked directly across the street from the arena.

One thing I don't care for is when people will sneak and smoke.

To the promotional team who made this happen, great job.

I think that's about it, sorry for...

Three stars for the venue itself. As a security professional, they could tighten up. We entered and were not even checked throughly, I could’ve brought a firearm into this venue easily. My friends and I were told to go three different places to get out tickets because they were upgraded. Security and staff were egregious in their attitudes towards us not knowing what to do because we followed directions three different times and kept getting re routed. Mrs tracy at the box office deserves five stars tho. She was amazing and patient with explaining everything and made sure we all got our upgraded tickets near each other so we could sit together. At the very end of the concert someone threw a palm sized rock down to the front row from the top balcony somewhere. Luckily no one was hit by it, could’ve been a serious medical issue. Again security needs better attitudes and patience, I understand they see thousands of people a week, but they can smile and be welcoming. They can also do a better job and not allow people to become endangered by their lackluster...
