Beautiful house. There's an attendant there as well so if you have questions or anything he can help....the gentleman we had was very knowledgeable and friendly. There was no admittance fee. Plaques mounted to the walls to describe the different living areas. They've actually peeled away different layers of wallpaper and paint as well as the lath and plaster. Definitely worth stopping to see.

This a really cool place with detailed history about the governors of ND. The wormwood is beautiful. Seeing the different wallpapers of past decades will be interesting. Do not forget to check out the carriage house!

This is a wonderfully preserved mansion that gives a great perspective on the former Governors of ND. Super friendly volunteer staff. Free admission, but donations are accepted and appreciated.

This is a beautiful place and it's definitely worth checking out. The gardeners are all volunteers and I love swinging by to see what's growing. Most plants have placards which is great for those of us new to plant love. The only downside for me is that, like many places in this town, dogs are not welcome regardless of how well they behave. I find myself not frequenting (or spending my money) at most establishments in...

Beautiful building and property in the middle of town. I love the way they have all of the past wall coverings framed on walls throughout the building. There are a lot of cool things in the little carriage house as well. They have various events there tortuous the summer and some in the winter months. We enjoy the bluegrass jams...
