Wow! This place is a great value for all the jammed packed video playing your fingers and eyes could desire. No quarters or cash needed, all play free from what I could see. A trip back to the 80’s. What’s not to love about Shera super heroine gracing the walls; didn’t spy He man but there was other super heroes like the Ninja turtles, Batman and the elusive Beavis. Pour your own tap beer with local favorites like Laughing Sun, Rhombus Guys, Surly and others. They also have wine infused cocktails. Now let me tell you about the food.....totally awesome! New York style pizza by the slice or the big 18” size....the Dude is “far out” it abides with Canadian bacon, chicken, crisp bacon, cheddar and mozzarella cheeses, ranch sauce than drizzled with some more ranch. They have a selection of fantastically yummy ciabatta bread sandwiches. We tried the Ace Ventura, delicious oven baked chicken singing with flavor from garlic butter, pineapple, sweet chili sauce, mozzarella, red onion, lettuce, tomato, cucumber & guacamole, felt like my mouth hit the jackpot! Than if that did not have our tastebuds dancing like a scene from flash dance our mouths crunched down on the Bobby Boucher, Cajun seasoned chicken, bacon, garlic butter, lettuce, tomato, onion and chipotle ranch. We got all that food two sandwiches with spicy pretzels, a slice for under $20. Easily feed our family of three ( you may want more cause it is soooo good!) Sunday the little ones can come in, the rest of the days you must be 21. Now let me tell you about the staff, so friendly! We were greeted by Jeff he introduced us to the place because we hadn’t been here before. Told us about the “Dude” pizza. If I could give this place more than 5 stars, I would give it a 10 for fun, friendly atmosphere and incredible...
Read moreWe decided to try dinner here for the first time last night and had it delivered. The ordering process was easy, and delivery arrived in a reasonable amount of time for as far away as we live, so that was awesome.
We ordered 3 sandwiches and cheesy bread for the two of us because we were planning to have leftovers for another meal the next day. Good thing we did because it was barely enough for one meal! When my wife and I opened our boxes with the sandwiches, we both looked at each other and all we could do was laugh!
The sandwiches were $9 + tax each. I understand the costs for food are going up and the portions are getting smaller everywhere you go now, but this one took it to the next level. I was literally able to eat half the sandwich in 3 bites! And for a sandwich that small for $9, you would expect some fries or at the very least, potato chips! Nope, nada! Just a small sad sandwich in a box. I included a photo of the sandwich with a butter knife for scale to show just how little this thing was. And again, with absolutely no sides, my feelings were really hurt. And my pocketbook!
But, I will absolutely give credit where credit is due and admit the sandwich tasted AMAZING. Like, I would order here again in a heartbeat and recommend it to others if it wasn't for the laughably small portion size. This place has a lot going for it in the quality and taste of the food they produce, but are absolutely handcuffing themselves with the portion size along with not even a potato chip filler to help cloak how small...
Read moreCame here on a Saturday afternoon and man is this place neat! Many of the games were available, some empty tables, and the crowd mello and having some fun. There was a wedding party happening- bride in her flowing white dress, damn near spilling out of her bodice and groom replete on beer and pizza in retro tuxedo!
Craftcade takes you back to an 80's era mall arcade, pretty much the hang-out for my younger brothers. I got to pick them up from there when they were outta quarters. Dark cool edgy interior with video game posters nicely framed on the walls. Some memorabilia right out of 80's tv commercials keeps you in that time warp. The place could use a little black lighting, that would add a nice touch!
About 20 games line up around the walls downstairs, another five or so upstairs along with a foosball table. But it's that self-pour drink tap that's gotta be the coolest. Charges by the ounce from a card given at the bar tied to your credit card. And hey, clean that glass after you drain it with that handy water fountain in the spill tray!
They carry that 80's theme to the menu. This time around we stuck with the New York style pizza selection. Next time we'll sample the Chicago dogs. Our pick was the TMNT- pepperoni, bell pepper, olives, mushrooms, and onions. Thin, chewy crust, thick sauce, and nicely done!
As other reviewers said they get busy on weekend nights, try a Saturday afternoon at the Cade. Not a bad way to spend it.
Andy took care of us and showed how the drinking works....
