Bentley Park Sports Complex — Attraction in Bixby

The complex itself is very nice. The courts and fields are in nice condition. The reason for the 3 stars is derived from a softball tournament currently being hosted at this complex. The administrator running the tournament does not a have clue on his head on how to run a tournament. The tourney was originally was supposed to run Friday through Sunday, but they felt it was better to play more games on a day with an excessive heat warning. Great move there on that one. We had a girl get sick from the heat before 11:00, and she was hydrating throughout the morning. They had placed the mounds further back than the designated distance and then decided to continue the game from that point rather than restarting the inning. When I asked the administrator why the other team gets the advantage, he told me it was for safety reasons. What safety concerns do you have with an unfair competitive advantage? This is a joke and I would be embarrassed to be a member of the Bixby's park and recreation department to allow a tourney run like this on...

Bentley Park Sport Complex is a great place for softball games and they keep very clean. We loved but it if you are not the last game of the night!. It was something i do no like two of our games was the last games of the night. They began to raked the ballfield dirt of the other empty fields when we still playing, we was playing in the middle of a dust cloud!. We need signs posted for the field numbers. We drove around and asked for directions, and everyone had a different idea. And they were all wrong. But we appreciate your help. The guy on the golf cart knew what was going on! Thank you. Nice big signs at the edge of the parking lot (not the fence to the ball field- with tiny numbers) would be great.
