I am very disappointed I came to this store yesterday JUNE 3,2021 , I never felt so embarrassed in my life I came to the store to return a item I also had my receipt to return it haven’t even been two weeks and this store told me I cant return my item if it’s more than 500 they also told me I can get a store credit I showed the customer service lady and also mana her he was a African American what the policy stated and he told me and the lady said it was changed. I knew they wasn’t telling the truth so I called the boca store and asked them what was they policy and he told me the policy of returns long as it’s under 30 days you can return your items and you have to have your receipt I said thank you. And I let the manager know and the lady know I just spoke with someone on the phone In this store and he said he can’t know what he talking about so I just left the store with my sister. But it set on my chest heavy about the situation I really had to call my uncle and mother which they both are a attorney because I really feel like it’s a racial profile and thought for them to look me in my face and tell me a lie is what bother me. They will be quick to collect your money but if you have to return something it’s a problem. I will never purchase from Neiman Marcus again I had to stay professional and I gave respect even when I was disrespected but I just need neiman to know I always shopped there est I was young with my parents and I can say that never happend and it was around 4:29 pm you guys have camera you can see me and my sister on the camera and the return station. Once again I never felt so embarrassed and also you have to treat people with respect and the same especially when you in retail. I spent more that’s 500 so basically I can’t get my cash back. But I can receive a store credit and it was less than 30 days not even 15 days I really feel so sorry for the two associates I just hope they have a change of heart. It was really 3 associates but only 2 made me feel so embarrassed. GOD BLESS YOU ALL… I just know you guys lost a couple customers. BUT HAVE A GREAT DAY. GOD BLESS . This happen at boca raton Neiman Marcus you will be able to see the conversation on camera in the store...
Read moreNEIMAN MARCUS BOCA RATON, FL LOCATION IS NOT FRIENDLY TO BLACKS!! Bonnie and the fragrance store manager from the Bond No9 counter racial profiled my sister because she was returning a fragrance for me with a legible receipt within the 30-day return policy. I purchased two fragrances from the Bal Harbour store, three weeks later I changed my mind, I asked my sister to return the fragrances for me. I gave her a paper receipt for one of the fragrances and an e-mail receipt for the other one because the other fragrance was shipped to me, therefore I had an email receipt. My sister went to the store with the packages and asked to return the fragrances and shared the receipts with the rude racist lady “Bonnie”. Immediately Bonnie’s response was “I will not accept these returns”, why is your sister returning these, were they given to her? My sister told her – no, they were not given to her as gifts, she purchased them with her Neiman’s credit card and I need you to return them and credit her account please. She still insisted that she would not accept them. My sister asked her what her reasons were, she was not able to provide a reason. The question I asked myself, if my sister was a Caucasian woman would Bonnie and the manager have treated her the same way she treated my sister? After much debate with me on the phone, they completed one return. They refused to return the other fragrance of $600+ and the reason given was because the box was not wrapped. Although I explained to Bonnie that the Acqua Di Parma fragrance came unwrapped and if she did not believe us, she should call the store. Her explanation was, “I simply don’t believe you”. I instantly asked to speak with a general manager. They both refused to call the GM. As my sister was leaving the store, she made a valid point – what if it was my 19-year old nephew who was returning these fragrances, would they have called the police on him? If We as women were treated this poorly by these two women, how would they have treated a 19-year old black man with twist in his hair? I have decided that Neiman is not a black friendly place for customers who look like me, therefore I am cancelling my credit card and will be taking my business...
Read moreI recently visited Neiman Marcus Boca Raton after purchasing a defective pair of sunglasses. Previously, they wouldn't accept the return, but this time the manager, James Garza, offered me a 10% discount towards a new pair. Although the discount was minimal, I appreciated the gesture.
I decided to buy a new pair, but unfortunately, my order was cancelled because they sold out before it could be processed. Disappointed, I reached out to the sales associate. She was very nice and sweet, explaining that there was nothing she could do other than process a refund, which she did promptly.
Given that this wasn't the first time an order was cancelled, I spoke to the manager, hoping for a simple apology and a resolution. Instead, James Garza was incredibly defensive and outright rude on the phone. His behavior was shockingly unprofessional, and he spoke to me in a condescending and dismissive manner. I've never been spoken to so poorly as a customer in my entire life.
James, your behavior was not only deplorable but also entirely inappropriate. You should be ashamed of how you treated a loyal customer. Such disrespect and lack of basic customer service skills are unacceptable. You are clearly unfit for your position, and Neiman Marcus Boca Raton deserves a manager who actually cares about its customers and knows how to treat them with respect...
