Hyde Park is one of the single best parts of Boise. It is so much fun to just go and wander up and down 13th Street checking out all the shops and restaurants that are there now in Hyde Park. They have a ton of super cool cute little shops that offer all kinds of useful things that you may be looking for and they focus on having mostly only locally owned businesses which I think is remarkable. Very very sad that the Hyde Park Street fair got canceled for the second year in a row but that's okay because I can still go wander around down there, over there? North Eastishly. If you are bored and you have the time I highly suggest hitting up Hyde Park, you can get a coffee you can get a wide variety of different kinds of food, you can shop for antiques as well as clothing and you can get your hair done. And let's not forget about the most important place in Hyde Park. Goody's ice cream and candy, if you have not gone into g Goody's yet you seriously need to. They have such a huge menu for such a small shop but they offer so many different kinds of very interesting and tasty drinks plus they have an incredible array of unusual candy that you can buy by the ounce I believe. Even if you don't order anything you should at least go in and check it out and if you have children please be a good parent and take them there at least once and let them share an ice cream bowl or let them pick a bag of a couple of different kinds of candy they want to try, heck they may even want to try one of the unusual drinks that they...

Last time when I went there, I visited an antique shop and discovered my liking towards unique antiques. I used to go there to have ice cream and candies from Goody's. They have various kinds of flavors. I highly recommend it if you want to discover...
Read moreThe heart of the North end, Hyde Park. It's beautiful in this area. From all the old houses to the local businesses, this is the part Boise that no other neighborhood can duplicate. There's a charm here that is intoxicating. You just want to stay, people watch and enjoy the vibe. I love the little shops, the floral shop has the prettiest flowers. The candy shop takes you back in time and is such a neat place to go get a sweet treat. Parilla is a great joint for some tacos and a cold beer. There's so much more! If you're from out of town visiting, make sure Hyde Park is on your...
