Hyde Park Fine Wines is my favorite wine shop in Boise. The owners, Scott and Caitlin, are so helpful and knowledgeable with any questions you have about wine, and their passion for sharing their knowledge is evident in every answer they give. Not to mention they are just great people!
The shop has an incredible selection to choose from, and a great variety of prices. I really appreciate the amount of natural wines to choose from, as it shows their appreciation for and support of sustainable agricultural practices.
The wine club they offer is the first I have ever joined, and I have enjoyed every bottle of wine we'd had through it. The monthly trifecta of wines, many of which I have never been exposed to, is a great way to try new wines and get a deeper understanding of the different wine regions of the world. And the 15% store-wide discount at any time is the cherry on top.
I love drinking wine on the patio and feeling the energy of the Hyde Park neighborhood, and I will be back often. I recommend stopping in, as I'm sure you'll end up coming back all the...

The wine selection is impressive and only exceeded by Scott's ready knowledge about wineries, vintages, regions around the US and the world. The atmosphere is relaxed, and the outside seating area is a wonderful place to watch Hyde Park go by, enjoy a glass or meet a new friend.
Prices are approachable, and Scott is easy to work with if you have a price range in mind. Their monthly 3-bottle wine club, highlighting ready-to-drink-now wines from different world regions, is a modestly priced way to expand your palate.
I highly recommend Hide Park Fine Wines. It is a real Boise asset and fun place to...
Read moreWhat to say about the best wine place in town? Scott has helped us find fancy wine, Chilean wine, birthday white burgundy, Santa Barbara Grenache, bubbles, Australian natty wine, Cabernet for departing coworkers, Sicilian wine made from weirdo native grapes, and “a half case of stuff I can open on, like, a Tuesday.” But more than that, he’s helped us find a community. Whether it’s connecting us with other people in Boise we might like or things we might like to experience, we can always count on Hyde Park to help us find where we need to be and get us the perfect bottle to celebrate wherever we end up. Stop by. Have a glass. Have a bottle even. Find your people. And do join the wine club. You won’t regret a minute...
