Edit: On my second visit on 2/20 I unfortunately had a pretty bad experience so I will not be returning. One of the kids had an accident in the ball pit. Totally okay and normal for a playground targeted towards this age group. My issue was the front desk staff rudeness towards me when I reported the issue. The parents of the kids were embarrassed and didnât want to tell anyone their child had an accident so it wasnât until I overheard them whispering about it that I noticed kids tracking the pee all through out the play area. There was wet foot prints everywhere. I notified the front desk there was some sort of wetness in the play area and children are tracking it everywhere. The front desk staff came with little rags to assess it. They found it in the ball pit with help from children and then I said âI am not entirely sure but it might be pee I heard some parents whispering that there kid had an accident but I am not sure.â The front desk lady very rudely said âwell I wish you would have said that from the beginning I would have worn gloves!â Maâam you work at a childrenâs playground what did you possibly think this wetness could be??? They then said they didnât know what to do because this has never happened before and they donât have a protocol for this⌠a childrenâs indoor playground doesnât have a protocol for accidents?!? Unbelievable. After a couple of children have now stepped in it and tracked it throughout the playground they FINALLY shut it down and evacuated everyone. I asked if I could get a partial refund or a credit on my account since we are leaving early. The front desk lady told me no because we were there for âmostâ of the time we paid for. It wasnât until I asked for the owner to call me that she all of the sudden had no problem giving me a free visit card⌠so ya I wonât be returning even with the free visit. I also give caution to anyone else. The lack of cleanliness and rude behavior of the front desk was appalling which is so disappointing I love supporting local businesses.
Old Review: Very cute place! My daughter loved playing here and we will definitely be back. I will say some things to consider I wish there were more staff presence in the play area. Some kids were a little out of control with parents standing back socializing while older kids picked on the younger ones. I just stayed really close to my daughter so no one could push her down, take away toys from her, or step on her. Also the parking lot is horrendous there is no way out of the parking lot other than to back out the whole lot until you get to the busy street which seems very unsafe. Especially when you have children walking to their cars. In their defense I donât know how much of that is their fault since it looked like construction was going on. Overall it was a cute place, clean, and people...
Read moreWe absolutely loved this place! My kids are 2 and 1 and they both had a great time, we where there for an hour, it was busy but I didn't feel like it was crowded like others are saying. It feels like that at first because everyone arrives at the same time so that part is a bit rough but once you're in the play are it's great! Their capacity is 30 people so there's maybe 15 kids in the play area... I also saw parents complaining about no place for them to sit in the play area... Sit on the floor and interact with your kid! The floor was soft and clean and I found plenty of spots to plop down and play/watch my kids. The ONLY reason I did 4 stars instead of 5 is because there are 2 parts on the equipment that I felt like where not safe for kids under 4.. and considering their age group is 0-5 it felt weird to have those there. One spot is a ladder/roap ladder but it's a big hole at the top where kids play, I saw a kid fall down it while we were there. The other one was a rope tunnel that the kids could climb up, again a hole for little ones to fall down, not as bad because they have to climb in instead of just falling into a hole. I didn't see a single kid use either on for what it's actually for. I get why they are there, it's just the only thing that bummed me out about the place. I'm a stay at home mom with 2 young kids, this place is almost perfect for me to be able to take them by myself but I'm not sure I will because of the fear of one of my kids falling in those holes.
Finally to the owner, it was hot as heck in there! Apparently a kid turned the thermostat up to 99! Please get a cover for that thing because we where cooking! âĽď¸ I truly hope this place does well, we will be...
Read moreIâve visited this facility twice, and during my first visit, I would have given it a 5-star review. It was a weekday, and it was a bit slower, which was ideal. I have an 11-month-old, and she loved it. Most of the kids were around her age, and the front desk staff was attentive to sanitation. Plus, they made great mochas!
We had such a great time that we decided to go back again on a Sundayâbut that turned out to be a BIG mistake.
The first issue was that there were so many parents socializing inside the small play area. Itâs a very compact facility, and the number of parents and grandparents in the space was overwhelming. Many werenât even there to supervise their kids; they were just chatting with other adults. This was disappointing. Additionally, there were so many parents that some overstayed their âhourâ reservation time, and there was no one on hand to monitor the situation. In fact, there were literally more adults in the play area than children. While I understand that some parents want to play with their babies (Iâm one of them), this felt less like a playtime and more like a social hour for parents.
Secondly, I would strongly recommend implementing designated time slots for different age groupsâsuch as 0-2 years and 3-5 years. Having older, more rambunctious kids playing in the same small area as a baby whoâs just learning to walk can be extremely stressful. While I love seeing all children have a great time, I noticed that not only I, but many other parents with babies and toddlers, seemed uncomfortable with the situation.
Overall, it really is a great facility to bring your kids to! Just be aware that if you have smaller ones come on a weekday and donât bother...
