McHose Park — Attraction in Boone

This is one of the finest, scratch that, the finest, city parks I have ever been to in my life. There is so much area available for hiking, biking, and different playground equipment. There is also the Boone Municipal Pool, adjacent ice skating and equestrian areas.

Disc golf is confusing for layout and can be very dangerous for young kids. Sorta made our own course. Be sure to watch for poisin ivy. Severe drop offs near baskets may contribute to lost discs.
