Pizza Ranch — Restaurant in Boone

I'm honestly not one who loved pizza ranch. My daughter and I were starving driving back from a friend's house and she wanted some pizza pie. I ordered and within 20 minutes I was walking out with a pizza.

Two HUGE things that I'd like to compliment the business on. As a parent the first one is admirable and responsible. We were waiting in the car for it to be done and my daughter needed to use the restroom. She went in and when she got done with the bathroom and came out a gal working there asked if she was by herself and if she was ok.......

Take that in for a second. Far to often we notice something that looks or feels off but we just stay quiet and look the other way or simply say nothing. As a society we need to start doing what this girl did with my daughter and step up and ask questions we may not like the answer to, because it's such a scary world out there today regarding the safety of our children. My daughter the preteen couldn't understand at first, but this action of taking responsibility and helping others was a Segway into a great conversation on safety and well being with my child. Second great thing was the people's attitude inside and on the phone. So sweet and helping. Nothing but good to say about the gentleman and his team members. Proud to be a small town family...

This pizza ranch should be shut down! Me, my daughter, and mom stopped to eat there after riding the Boone Scenic Valley Railroad! We stopped at Pizza Ranch because we love the one in Indianola and the one in Pella Iowa. This Boone Pizza Ranch was horrible! We spent over 50 bucks and couldn't even eat anything because it was either overcooked, had set out so long it had to be going bad!!! The salad, cottage cheese, everything at the salad bar was gross, the chicken was so hard and so dried out. The pizza was awful, it tasted like it had been left out forever. I wanted to address the issue there and then but my mom knew I was pissed and she begged me not to start anything. We should have been given a refund! We left just as hungry as we were when we got there and just feeling sick all the way home!! We will never be back nor will we recommend it to anyone ever. We love the Pizza Ranch restaurants in indianola and Pella Iowa. Boone should visit them and learn how to run a successful Pizza Ranch because...

My family and me stopped at the pizza ranch in Boone iowa. We are actually here as I am writing this review. This was the worst pizza ranch I have been to. We all got the buffet, the food looked like it was still there from lunch time. I am not writing this to get free food or anything. I am writing because I was with my family and this was around 4:30 pm. The pizza looked like and tasted like dry cardboard. Even the dessert pizza looked that way. I can guarantee I won't ever come back to this pizza ranch. Instead of making fresh food, the workers were more worried about their phones and talking to each other. All of our plates stayed on the table the whole time we were there. The date was July 30th 2024. The food all looked like gas station food. It was absolutely horrible. I honestly don't care if this post is public or not. People need to know about places. I mean my god it's not like the place was busy and they had to bring us our food.
