La Carreta — Restaurant in Boone

Me and my family Ordered food everyone else got there's in like 5min no problem and waiter said it would be no more than 5 to 10 minuites to get my food 20min later I asked where my food was and he said he forgot and he's get it right away so I sat down well then it had been another 10min and he was ignoring me when I was trying to ask where my food was! When I finally got it it i had to ask a diffrent waiter to do it and it was cold like it was made on time and he was to lazy to get it and to top it all off the rest of the table had to repeatedly chase down and ask for refills and ask others for help I would blame it on just the server but when we asked to speak to the manager he said he didnt belive us and even if he did do it could see nothing wrong with what he did even though some of the other waitresses was backing us up and said they saw...

We stopped today for lunch after not having been there in several years. We both ordered burritos. It was absolutely the most bland food we have had in a Mexican restaurant, ever. POssibly any restaurant save Cracker Barrell. The chicken was unseasoned and dry in the burrito, there was ZERO sauce of any kind, just a dollop of sour cream and a bunch of shredded lettuce. There was no hot sauce on the table so my husband asked for some thinking we would get some Tapatio or something. THey brought us a tiny bowl with some homemade looking sauce and.... THEY CHARGED US A DOLLAR FOR HOT SAUCE ARE YOU KIDDING ME? AT A MEXICAN RESTAURANT Service was just meh. Save your money for something your taste...

Food was ok, but my waiter was extremely horrible and rude. At first I thought him passing by me and serving the couple that got there 10 minutes after I did was a mistake but throughout the entire meal he kept ignoring me and asking that same couple that arrived after me if they needed anything. Only checked on me once through the entire meal and checked on them several times. I did nothing to be treated this way and was nice throughout the entire meal to him even after noticing how I was being treated.
