Alexan Main Street Apartments — Attraction in Bothell

This is the nicest place I have ever lived, even homes I’ve purchased! I absolutely love it here. I’m living in a state of peace I have not felt in years; even my dog is more relaxed! The building is like a fancy hotel and my brand new apartment is beautiful. The layout, storage features, mini splits, and finishes are really well designed. My apartment is even nicer than the ones shown on the website. The location is in the best part of downtown Bothell.

Every detail was considered in the construction. They even thought to cover half of the dog area for rainy days. The building has the latest technology and internet modems are already built in. Your phone app opens everything so you don’t need to carry your keys around. Parking spaces are generously sized and they have some with lifts to accommodate two cars. Even though the area is busy, the quality of soundproofing is excellent. I could hear my next door neighbor making quite a bit of noise my first couple days, but the office promptly addressed it. The mini splits are silent and keep the apartment whatever temperature I want. The only weird thing is the switch for the bathroom fan is inside the laundry closet instead of in the bathroom itself.

I broke my lease at another property in downtown Bothell because I couldn’t handle the excessive noise and building issues any longer. I had to spend some cash to make it all happen, but with the generous concessions from Alexan, it was all worth it. My application was approved in just hours and I moved within a week. Special thanks to Kevin and Angela in the office and Fred in maintenance for helping me settle in quickly.

A cool service to add for new residents would be help taking moving boxes to the recycling area in the garage. The building is massive and it’s a long journey to borrow a cart from the lobby, take all the boxes away, then return the cart.

I’m extremely disappointed with the way Alexan Main Street is managed and how they treat their residents. When I signed my lease, Angela, the leasing agent, explicitly promised me two parking spots — one for me and one for my partner. That promise was a major factor in my decision to move in. For several months, we used both parking spaces with full approval and without any issues.

Then, months later, I received a call from Kevin, the property manager, who was extremely rude and unprofessional. He informed me that I could no longer have two parking spots and that I needed to “figure out” where to park my second car. When I politely asked for the name and contact information of his supervisor to discuss the situation, Kevin hung up the phone on me — which is completely unacceptable behavior for someone in a management position.

This is not only disrespectful, but also constitutes false advertising and breach of agreement. You cannot market and lease an apartment under certain conditions, allow residents to rely on those terms for months, and then unilaterally change them. This is misrepresentation and a deceptive leasing practice, and I intend to report it to the appropriate consumer protection agencies.

Angela misled me from the beginning, and Kevin’s conduct further proves the lack of professionalism, transparency, and accountability within this management team.

We have spent a great deal of time seeking out a new apartment we could call home. After visiting many complexes within the Bothell-Woodinville area, Alexa On Main, clearly stood out to us as the place to call home. The facility is clean, well maintained, bright, in a great location and has plenty of amenities.

What stood out to us the most though was our dealings with Kevin Parker, the Assistant Property Manager. We initially showed up without an appointment, and all the agents were busy. Kevin, greeted us from inside his open door office and most willingly stepped up to give us a tour of Alexan On Main. Since that first meeting, we've been back numerous times asking lots of questions, looking at different options, and Kevin has always greeted us professionally, and has been thoroughly upbeat, knowledgeable and such a joy to work with.

With all that Alexa On Main Street has to offer, as well as Kevin from the management team, the front desk staff and the maintenance folks, as well as the friendly and happy folks we've met that live there, we gladly signed the lease for our new apartment and are looking forward to the next step on our life journey, with Alexa On Main as our home base.
