Pop Keeney Stadium — Attraction in Bothell

I love Pop Keeney stadium for high school football . I'm part of a competing high school football program and I'm jealous. Here are a couple reasons Full sized stands on both home and visitor sides. Apartments overlooking the stadium giving it an urban feel. Lots of restaurants and shops in the vicinity.

One HUGE complaint is the ridiculous posts the block the view of everybody. That's on the school district and their short-sighted decision making. But back to the positive...

And as for Bothell football, they do a lot of things right. An amazing and talented marching band - probably the best in the state. A fantastic cheer program and student body making lots of noise. And, of course, they have a solid football program with a long track record of success.

We didn't actually go on to pop candy field so I can't read the field or bleachers. 4th of July parade, car show, is what I am rating. The VFW and all the sponsors chamber of commerce haggerty Pier 4 I mean oh my gosh, they all sponsored a really wonderful car show. The city of Bothell had garbage cans and recycle containers out and when we left, there may have been two or three scraps of paper in the whole area in the parking lot along the streets. It was amazing and fantastic! The car show was super good! So many wonderful people from the Bothell area, and drawn in from the surrounding areas, plus all the parade goers.. made it a wonderful full day! And the sun was shining. Went here multiple times for high school football games. Seating is ok, not very comfortable, but its just benches. Better on the home side, and is covered. Food and drink is expensive, at stadium prices. Parking can be problematic if you don't get there early, and surrounding areas are usually close to full. Usually has home school merch vendors near the bathrooms. Overall, its good,...
