I shop at this target very often and typically never have a problem. However, I recently had an experience that was just less than what I usually experience here. Long story short... prior to going to the store I call to double check that they still participated in the "Cat and Jack" exchange/refund policy. I was told on the phone yes only to arrive and be told by Denise, the manager, that "someone made that up on social media", "it's not even a real thing", "look it up online", and "you've never done an exchange here."
So, I told Denise you know... let me make sure I didn't call another location. Called the number, the same person picked the phone up and stated that yes, we did talk and yes, he did sat they do "Cat and Jack exchanges". Denise stated she would correct the associate that told me that, it's not accurate, ect and her closing statement was "Well we won't be doing it here. Not today".
I should just move on with my life, right? But the problem is I actually have exchanged target brand clothing at this location before for store credit, the target website literally says, "Target Owned Brand items can be returned for up to one year with a receipt for an exchange or refund." Not to mention her unnecessary attitude while I tried to remain pleasant and respectful. It's even crazier that someone would look you in the face and tell you that you've never done what you know for fact that you have. It's borderline weird.
I ended up going to another Target close by and was able to exchange the items for store credit with NO PROBLEM. Just like I have in the past. I understand that it is a tedious task, so I never come in with a truck load of things. It more so seems like it just depends on who is at the counter at this specific location. I've never had this problem...
Read moreThe customer service was terrible, I went into this location at 11am on a weekday. Every self checkout register was closed and 1 register was open. The line had 7 guest waiting and 3 employees standing in front of the non working self checkout lines. The customer in front of me was pregnant and asked the employees that were standing around if they could open another register or get assistance. The employees continued to talk for another minute or so before leaving. One employee moved the rope to the self checkout line from across the self check out, to directly in front of them. By this time I am the 4th person in line. I asked was he open and he stated that he would just be taking that customer and someone else would come to open another register soon. due to the customers in front of me having full carts there was a decent wait. By the time I made it to the register, a women came upfront and told one of the women at the Starbucks to assist in ringing up. I waited about 15-20 minutes before other registers were open. The store was clean, not as stocked as I would have hoped for, not enough cashiers, and not one self...
Read moreLast Saturday, I visited Michaels for some art shopping. Unfortunately, my phone was stolen inside the store. Since no one from Michaels helped me, I drove to Target around 9:20 pm to seek some assistance.
To my relief, a kind lady assisted me and helped me call the police to report the incident while it was fresh. She also assisted me in adding a family member on WhatsApp since I did not recall anyone's phone number to contact for assistance, and helped me get in touch with them. While the police took my statement inside the store, I waited for a family member to pick me up as I am new to the area, having recently moved from Montgomery County. The kind lady also checked on me through the phone number she had added to ensure I arrived home safely.
I am not sure of the name of the lady, but I personally appreciate what she did for me. She saw a person in need and did not hesitate to help me. I congratulate Target for hiring such an...
