I Brought my MacBook in to see if they could repair liquid damage. They call back two days later and said nothing can be done. I kind of figured that would be the result, it is what it is, no big deal. It’s not life or death and they did the best they could and didn’t even charge me for the assessment which considering I just damaged a brand new $2500 computer I really appreciate. My one star review is because when I picked up the MacBook it was scratched to hell. It was a brand new MacBook I had two weeks I dropped it off with no scratches and picked it up with many scratches. When I ask the employee what happened he shrugged it off and said Something to the effect of I didn’t work on it so I don’t know. Accidents happen I know I made a huge accident but it’s extremely Unprofessional to return someone’s $2500 piece of tech with scratches all over it. I’m sure a lot of good stuff has come out of these Technicians and again they weren’t necessarily rude but this Is the not the kind of behavior that I’d expect from a company of this size. It’s just very disappointing. It’s not their fault my laptop no longer functions but Regardless of the circumstances Or the outcome or I should never have to wonder if my stuff will come back and worse cosmetic condition the one I dropped it off. Very frustrating, very disappointing and I definitely cannot trust a company that allows this, what if my MacBook hadn’t been unfixable? What if they had been able to fix it and then I went back and had to pick it up and they were scratches all over it? I have only had one other experience with this company and it was positive however I will never again be able to trust that they will care enough to return my belongings back to me in the same condition in which I dropped it off never mind trust them enough to fix anything.
Update to say Asurion reached out to me and apologized. Seems like this is more of a this franchise issue than anything so I won’t condemn all of the stores, but this one clearly isn’t on the return list!
Update 3/22 still no actually apology from franchise itself or any attempt at reparations.
Update 6/7 still...
Read moreThis place is probably helpful to some people. I give them the one star and bad review simply because this has become an absolute headache when it comes to the contract with AT&T and their Asurion insurance checklist of requirements. 3 times I have spoken to Asurion about the requirements associated with the location services and removed every device associated with the Apple ID on the phone, including attempting to simply turn off location services. All three of the times I attempted to have an insurance claim repair with the only authorized repair store in this town (this place) they are unable to make the repair. All three businesses are frustrating, unhelpful and a major frustration. The iPhone 6 that I had repaired there to use until this pointless claim was completed just simply does not work any longer. Same issues I took it in for actually. They can’t guarantee any of their work at all, nor make a repair when they have the only contract to attempt the repair. Don’t waste your time, this just won’t work for your insurance claim. They should have told us from the beginning that a complete device replacement from Asurion was the ONLY option literally. What’s the point of going back? What a complete waste of time. Wish I had seen a review like...
Read moreExtremely disappointed with the service I received today 7/15/25 4:10pm
My MacBook was having issues with its OS and Hard drive. I paid 89.99 for a OS installation and was told if I needed more work whatever I paid today would go towards the new hard drive if I needed one.
After I got my computer back the issue eventually reappeared, so I brought it back to find out they cannot install a new hard drive and in order to reinstall the software I’d have to pay another 89.99
This is also when I found out the 1 year warranty is ONLY for parts, not software issues. I found this to be very scummy from a company I thought was legitimate. Why was I not informed the hard drive couldn’t be replaced initially? Or that the warranty is only for parts? If properly informed I would’ve took my computer elsewhere.
I strongly suggest you not bring your electronics here for software related reasons, they’re not covered by warranty and you are not made aware of what the company can’t do until after you paid.
Customer service was mid. The guy seemed annoyed that I wanted to get my computer repaired, and that he had to explain why only hardware is under warranty and not the software i paid for. Lesson...
