Cicis Pizza — Restaurant in Bowling Green

We use to love going here for lunch on our date night. The food, while not the best, was good for it's buffet price. The sause and cheese/garlic bread being something I was a huge fan of.

However, the management there and whoever manages the use of dining wear have ruined that. A buffet with no trays when they used to have plenty to go around, meaning now you must make MULTIPLE trips to get food and go through the line again and often miss out on food items because of this. Where they had plastic cups they now switched to crappy paper cups. Their food quality has suffered too, and even for it's buffet price is not worth it. My wife on our final trip there got bad food poisoning on things that she used to frequently eat there with no issue.

Then we have the management. Children, stop reading here as my language is about to get adulterated. The management, if you can call him that, decided that in addition to ruining the quality of the food, that he needs to jam a stick up his ass and treat customers like absolute trash too. If you helped yourself to what he felt was too much food in a trip, he would publicly ridicule you for it. If you asked if an item was coming out soon (You know, to guage if its worth waiting or to go sit and eat what you have) he would give you lip about it and once more raise his voice to let the whole damn resteraunt know you're being put to shame. If you asked for custom food (Which they have ALWAYS done) to be delivered to the table, he'd put you down and make it clear you'll be a last priority. Wife wanted her usual pizza which we normally get in like 20 minutes, it took an hour and change this time (Said item that gave her food poisoning too.) Oh, and if you even try to be nice and inform him a drink is low on syrup or the seltzer water is low? He'll treat you like an idiot. Once more, loudly andi nfront of everyone.

I myself am outraged and shocked at how quickly this place has went downhill. It wasn't always the best, but now its not even worth the trip. Thankfully, a new buffet pizza place has opened and we'll take the slightly longer drive there than come back to this Cici's so long as this imbecile is...

This place should probably be shut down as it's an embarrassment to the franchise.

A pressure washer couldn't clean this location.... you'd have to replace everything. There are layers of dirty rag wipes on the entire restaurant...evidence that someone tried years ago to clean it. My wife and I felt gross the entire time I was in there.

At one point I found a sanitizer dispenser on the wall, and after I made a special trip to use it, when I sat down I pulled out my chair to sit down and my hand was gross again. I just used a fork that I prayed had been washed...to eat pizza.

We asked if they were going to bring out pasta twice, the second time finally interrupting the only adult employee (cashier, probably manager?) because he was stuck on his phone and employees wouldn't make eye contact without being asked directly, and the first kid just kind of nodded and wandered off. After that, we had to interrupt the manager's phone time again to ask if they could bring out Alfredo sauce for the pasta.

We had to hunt for a table that looked like it may have been recently wiped. Most still had plates and glasses on the tables, even though only 4 tables were occupied. I've been to 3 or 4 Cici's and this location is an embarrassment to the chain.

I understand it was just after 730 when we arrived, I'm sure the rush had just ended. But how do you leave your dining room trashed and just stand there texting, not refilling your bar, not cleaning?

I can only imagine the back of the restaurant is worse, and won't be returning next week when we're...

I wish I could put zero stars. Came at dinner time. There were only 3 other ppl in there. Walk in the door and bought 3 adult buffets and 3 kids. I wish I would’ve checked the bar and surroundings first. Dirty plates and food everywhere. Bar was all old and a complete mess. Salad lettuce looked like it was wet with something and dark (possibly mold). We wiped down our own table and chairs with wipes from our car but dirt is so caked on it didn’t help much. 3 of the fountain drinks were out. I literally watched the guy mopping the floor walk straight to the bar and make a bowl of noodles and sauce and never wash his hands. The entire staff was cussing and screaming and laughing and on their phones the entire time. I ate one piece of pizza and left. Honestly I would be so embarrassed to be the owner of this place. There is no management and it’s so dirty a gas station has higher standards. NOTHING has been cleaned in this place. Literally NOTHING. Handles, chairs, tables, etc ALL of it needs to be thrown away and replaced. It’s not even cleanable at this point. Worst place I’ve ever been into in my entire life. 40 years and thousands of locations across the world and THIS PLACE...
