If I could give a negative star review, I would. It started in July 2020. I purchased a leather recliner for my husbands birthday. On July 15th, his actual birthday, we picked up his chair and found a hole on one of the pieces that attached to the chair. Cannot even begin to go in to ALL the details because it infuriates me. My entire experience with Bob’s has been the worst experience I’ve had with any retailer and will NEVER shop or recommend Bob’s to anyone. Although Jon and Celine (a mgr) were nice and Anthony, (the manager) who made it seem like he really cared about resolving my issue, Not one of them has resolved my issue or fulfilled a promise to follow up. I’ve been patient and kind and they’ve mistaken my patience and understanding for something they are so wrong about. Once my problem that began on July 15, 2020 is resolved, I will be glad to be done with Bobs. My problem began at the Brea California location with lies and unresolved issues even after speaking to multiple managers, including Anthony, who said he was sorry to hear about my experience and it not being resolved. He went as far as to say he would follow up in Two weeks and paused to claim he put a calendar reminder In his phone while we spoke. I thanked him for his professionalism and made it clear although I was grateful, I expected my issue to be resolved. He failed to follow up in August and I was so done I didn’t even bother to call myself. Then a second failed product replacement where no on called to inform me or apologize that the product I purchased in July that had been expected October 17th was not going to arrive. I’m embarrassed for them. It’s disappointing. I had to call and now am being told my product to replace the defective one from July 15 won’t be available and pushed back to mid November. ARE YOU KIDDING ME? I asked Celine for Anthony’s boss’ number and I was told Anthony would call me on Wednesday and he could give me the Number. Celine was supposed to call me back today after she spoke to customer service this morning and assured me she would... no call. Nothing. I thanked Celine and everyone I’ve spoken with for being kind and explained that action is overdue and this was unacceptable service. WORST SERVICE EVER. I’d like a call back from an executive that can resolve my issue TODAY! It’s funny how I cannot return my defective item (even with purchasing the warranty). Read moreWe have been searching for furniture for 3 years but we could never find a way to pull the trigger on something. Then covid happened and we found ourselves needing to improve our interior space. We were pleasantly surprised by Bobs and what they had to offer. The quality was fantastic ( after searching for 3 years everything looks the same ) but when we got to Bobs I knew it would be different. We purchased a full bedroom set, a kitchen table, and a work bench. The price was reasonable, we paid for the White glove service for delivery. They came in the delivery window, the workers were very efficient and methodical in how they un packaged and handled building everything.
Unfortunately in the work bench and the table the screws were tightened too much and there was cracked wood along with 2 screws that were over drilled and came out the other side. They are human it happens, it was the end of a long day and we had ALOT of furniture that needed to be built.
We went to the store ( brea ) the next day to talk about the damage and right away they got on the phone and a swap was initiated. It felt almost to easy and we were waiting for the catch. After getting home I realized that I was not happy with the color if the work bench and preferred something different.
I called the 800 number around 730 am PST. I did wait 2 hours on the phone but I took it in stride. When and agent finally came on he was extremely delightful and helpful. I explained the situation and he recieved approval for reselection. He then transfered me to the store where another agent helped me. She too was extremely helpful and I told her what I wanted instead and again super easy process.
I was so delighted with my whole experience. I feel like I am always having to fight for wrongs to be corrected however Bobs process from beginning to end was amazing. I was so relieved how easy it was to get my problems solved. I will for sure be returning as a customer. Thank you so much for turning out...
Read moreWonderful experience at Bob's Furniture in Brea. My Sister, her husband, my brother and I went to see the Hollywood Teal Loveseat my Mother liked viewing on line. Upon arriving Sebnem Dagtekin the store manager came up to us and welcomed us into the store. She asked how she could help us and I quickly showed her the picture of the loveseat. She said yes we have it right here in front. I had seen it, but thought these sofas were to beautiful to be it. Online just does not compare as viewed live. We were so mesmerized by all the other beautiful pieces of furniture they had in the show room. Subnem was so informative about this loveseat and asked and answered questions for us. She was so kind. She offered us coffee, ice cream and snacks at thier cafe snack bar in back. We saw the love seat. Tried it out and we all just loved it for my Mother. We sat on the lovely sofa, loved the firmness of the cushions. The depth was perfect, we knew our Mother would sit perfectly on it. The feel was so soft. The color so beautiful. I said yes we will purchase it. Sebnem was so happy we were happy. She helped us with the purchase, offered the Goof proof waranty explained it to us. Informed us of the delivery process. And asked if we would like anything else and took the time to show us around the showroom. We received our delivery today and my Mother is so happy with her new loveseat. The delivery process was also very well done. From tracking the arrival to the clean up from the packing materials. My Mother tride out her new loveseat and loved the firmness. She was very comfortable on it. Loved the color, the soft feel. And how beautiful it looked in her living room.Thank you Sebnem and everyone at Bob's for your help. I highly recommend your store in Brea very much. I will return again soon. Thank you....
