Oasis is a metaphorical sculpture, illuminating the past history of thriving Native Americans to the transition into, ranching and oil development paving the way into the small, safe and affluent city of we know Brea to be.
Artwork is located on the South East corner of Imperial Highway (90) and Valencia Avenue. This 26-foot tall steel sculpture was orchestrated by Douglas Hollis and Anna Valentina Murch in San Francisco. Commissioned by Chevron Land and Development its' something to gaze up and observe steel blades moving silently.
