This review is for meat counter only. I went on 1/21/2024 afternoon, and when I approached to the meat counter, there were 2 or 3 men available, but I was neglected until one of them approached to me. Since I saw there were only a few short ribs which were all fatty on the display, I asked if there were more in the stock because I prefer leaner meat, but was told those were all they have. That's fine only if that's true. Then I picked one the short ribs and asked if they can cut in English style, but was told they cannot cut it and they only sell in whole roll, then I just forget about it since I am not able to cut by myself. However, I noticed the previous customer requested to cut in square pieces and the same man was willing to satisfy her request, I guess probably he was annoyed by the previous customer whom requested him to do extra works, then in my turn he doesn't want to work anything for me. I don't why they have to play the "pick and choose" games on customers, especially I was in a very good manner during the whole conversation. It feels like I am on their secret black list. I cannot believe this happens in the expensive supermarket. You guys have to join 2024 and treat customers fairly and equally no matter what. I then drove to more afffordable supermarket Sprouts, even the man in meat counter was extremely nice and energetic to work for me, and no need to say I was in very good manner as well and didn't request him to work extra for me. I sometimes shop here a lot because I live closed by, and this is gonna be my last time. Unless I am offered some compensation,...
Read moreCame here today for a sandwich and I was waiting today for a while without being greeted when finally the woman at the meat counter noticed me. The first thing she says is “Do you want a sandwich?” in a tone as though she was irritated I was there. Despite this, I still ordered. She had been cutting meat and her gloves were greasy and dirty and she started grabbing the stuff to make my sandwich without switching them and I asked as nicely as possible if she would mind changing them. She grabbed them out of the box and gave me a serious death glare and rolled her eyes??? I am no Karen and I try my best to give people the benefit of the doubt in situations like this.. I was genuinely so uncomfortable but I tried to let it go. She took an extremely long time to make my sandwich (which felt intentional), and was making faces and interacting with another customer the entire time. She also wiped her nose with the back of her hand while she was making my sandwich... I was so off put by this entire encounter and I have genuinely never experienced such rudeness before. I don’t know if I would ever be back to...
Read moreWow is basically what I can sum up my experience last night was. First using self check-out and normally SOME self check-outs make a noise when you scan each item well not there again first time using self checkout there at Whole Foods anyways basically I'm scanning my items paying close attention that I make sure I scan everything, within a second of thinking I may have scanned 1 item by accident it didn't scan again within a second a female worker with black glasses rushed to my bag grabbed the item out of it without my consent and blatantly told me YOU DIDNT SCAN THIS and scanned it herself and put it back in my bag and walked away saying your welcome. I'm in my 30s yes ful tattooed with glasses making my nightly grocery run for my household and I'm Hispanic, sadly this young lady is what the same age possibly a few years older then me passed judgement on me cause the way I look. Sadly I won't be coming back cause you would think in this day and age we wouldn't pass judgement on those around us or who into an establishment to shop for their families. I guess Whole Foods in brea...
