PK Burgers — Restaurant in Brea

Didn't like it at all. Everything was bland and flavorless. The steak sandwich was a huge mistake. The steak was tough and chewy with huge chunks of fat. It was also completely flavorless, the most flavor on that sandwich is the mayo. The carne asada dinner was a little better but not by much. The beans were watery, and again, flavorless. They didn't even try on the rice. I guess they were out of mexican rice so they put steamed rice instead. It's like they tried to give me the blandest food they could. The carne asada was better than the steak but not by much. At least it had some flavor to it. I tried both the salsa verde and roja and wasn't impressed with either. The verde is just heat with no flavor but the roja at least added something to the carne asada. Tried it for the first time today and definitely will not be...

PK is a staple here in Brea/Yorba Linda. It's been here for over 25 years, and with good reason. The food is terrific!! It's small, but mighty. They are a constant supporter of most of the community and school sports teams. YAY!! For all the years it's been here, this was my first visit, EVER. I was NOT disappointed. It was not crowded, which was okay for me. But I have seen a full parking lot plenty of times.

I ordered a Patty Melt with fries. Fry check, excellent. Patty Melt, excellent. Meat cooked just right. It was a little small, but just right. The Pepsi, (my favorite), the right amount of fizz. Lol. They have lots of good food on the menu. salads as well.

The service was good as well. I will be back to try...

First visit in many years, and certainly not since the owner change. I don't remember what it was like before, but it was clean inside with no off odors. I ordered their "100% Kobe beef" burger and I found it well made and delicious and quite the bargain for a limited Time, so get it while you can. I also ordered chili cheese fries to top off this artery clogging gastronomic endeavor and those were also very well made. It was a hearty meal to be sure and more than enough for two normal people. Technically it was 100% American Wagyu, for those sticklers for detail. But still, a solid burger. I will be back to try other things when I get a chance but first impression was...
