This place is amazing! I love attending concerts here. This Amphitheater has a unique design where visibility to the stage is great. Every seat in the venue is a great seat. Besides the venue, the staff is a class ACT. There are two people in general that have outstanding customer service skills. The caterer, Vicky is amazing. Her food is the best food I ever had at any venue. Her customer service skills and food is impeccable and unmatched! As an artist, she is the best caterer I've ever dealt with. She prepares her food with love and care. She makes sure that she "caters" to everyone needs to the highest level of satisfaction. Vicky's catering company is one of the reasons why we as artists are able to perform well on stage. She is the catalyst to our evening having with great energy, outstanding professionalism and delicious food!
The other staff member I would like to acknowledge is the police officer, Margo! She is the kindest and most professional police officer I ever met. She makes sure the concert goers are safe and comfortable. I can tell she takes pride in her job. One of my crew member's car would not start and she reacted quickly to make sure the problem was resolved. Because of Margo's assistance, she made my crew member feel much better. Because of Margo's work ethic, she makes coming to the Country Club Hills Amphitheater a very enjoyable, comfortable and an extremely safe environment and experience. We need more police officers like her protecting us and providing extraordinary customer service to the public. If anyone has any issues that need to be resolved at this venue Margo the wonderful police officer will definitely be the one to do...
Read moreI have been a resident for 35 years. I have been a patron for as long as the theatre has been open. I was having a fine time until the gentleman next to me lit up a cigar. Which he probably bought at the venue. I didn't feel like going to jail. But I was mad at myself for putting up with it. The gentleman was imposing his will on the surrounding patrons, similar to our recent scene in HP. I asked the police officer on my way out, were people allowed to smoke in the venue, he said no. I blame myself for allowing him to disturb my wife and I evening. The concerts have gotten better over the years. They used to be half concerts. But this recent one with Morris Day was enough. The sound man still needs to be taken to the wood shed. But Morris Day's group sounded fine. Prices were reasonable and the crowd was mature and well behaved....
Read moreSaw Keith Washington, Glenn Jones, Tony Terry and Surface last night- AMAZING💜. Ramonski Luv did a great job👍😂💛. Security was phenomenal, not allowing guests to walk past the front row💙. However, the state trooper who demanded tickets after we came around the back of the venue to find the bathroom (to avoid walking in front of other concert goers and avoid the port-a-potty, sent by another security guard who said "go all the way around back there"), was excessive. Luckily, I had our digital tickets. Lesson learned. I didn't try the vendors but others praised them. The staff were courteous and professional. Drinks were expensive but not unreasonable. Bathrooms were immaculate. Parking was easy. Altogether a wonderful date...
