I happened to see Seafood Junction one day on my way to Walgreens and decided to try it. I typically wait until I order the food 3 times before I write up a review. I jusr finished eating there today for the 3rd time. I ordered the same food, Cajun grilled catfish, Cajun shrimp and a Pepsi. I was looking for consistancy in terms of customer service, food quality and of course taste, before I can add this place to my list of favorite places.
Here's my humble review of Seafood Junction on 183rd Street in Country Club Hills.
Customer Service There's a very kind hearted lady that took my order all 3 times. Her name is Honda. She answers the phone in a professional manner, she greets you with respect when she encounters you at the counter, she gets your order correct and she genuinely seems to care about her customers. Im not sure if Honda is the owner or not, but to the owners, Honda is the type of person that all owners can only hope to have. Please take my words seriously, I rarely go to Popeyes or Burger King on 183rd anymore because of how often they get the food order wrong and especially because of how rude they are. Hats off to you Honda for your professionalism and respect for the customers.
Food Quality So many owners try to cut cost by using different suppliers or skimping on raw materials, which affect the quality. I rarely order bacon from Marias Pancake house because they use to have the best brown sugar type of thick bacon. Now they not only don't have that type of bacon, but it almost seems like they shave the bacon to less than half the original thickness. Seafood junction food quality is great. No stale or raw tasting food or reheating food from the day before.
Food Taste Wow. This is one of the rare times I was very disappointed to see that I was on the last piece of food item (shrimp) in the container because it taste so good. It'll have you looking for another kernel of corn to slurp on or even take the lemon slice and try to get the last of the cajun spice off the side of the container and slurp on lemon slices. Yep, i went there. lol.
To Honda, cooks and the owners of Seafoid Junction, I truly pray the best for you and you gained a new loyal customer. Now I don't have to go all the way to Red Lobster.
Obviously, I highly recommend Seafood Junction. No, I am not related to anyone there. I also don't have any ownership in this place...although, I'm going to eat there so much, I need to see if I can buy stock in them. ...

Read moreHorrible service, called to place an order at 7:37pm. Told the lady I’m 40 mins, I thought it was going to take some time to cook, so I asked if she could put the order in at 8pm. Mind you, she just told me they take their last phone order at 8:30pm. She questioned me with an attitude asking “well, baby girl are you gonna be here at 8:30pm bc if not..”. It states online that y’all close at 9 and she just told me they take the last order at 8:30pm, so why would you question if I’m going to be there? The only reason I asked her to put the order in at a different time was so my food wouldn’t be as cold when I picked it up. I don’t even give google reviews , but don’t work customer service jobs if you don’t know how to...
