Best restaurant meatloaf...EVER!!! They have reopened the dining room and it adds a wonderful atmosphere to the restaurant. The cafeteria-style buffet offers food for the soul that is satisfying, filling and generously portioned. All orders are plated in to-go containers but you can choose to eat in the self-seating dining room. The macaroni is cheesy and good. The candied sweet potatoes are buttery, saucy and sweet but not too sweet. Most meals come with one entrée and two side items. However, my favorite entrée, the baked turkey wing, comes automatically with cornbread dressing and your choice of two sides. They offer fried chicken and catfish filets, cooked to order. Stopped by this Freddys location to order a milkshake, through the drive thru. It took 15 minutes and they had me pull around and wait. I finally went inside and they had not started to make it. Needless to say 8 minutes later(23 minutes total) I got my milkshake. The girl behind the counter had an attitude and acted like I was inconveniencing her. Ruby's!!!! I'm from 2.5 hours away. I went with a few friends last minute because another soul food place was closed. We all loved it. Every side tasted like home.All our parents are from the South and cooking is second nature. Lol. We all tried 2 different meats.😍Yeah...we know😂 They were all delicious. There's also a stage inside.
