We went in with a phone screen issue; it started having intermittent issues after they did a Google-funded battery fix a few months ago (which required screen removal), but stopped working altogether recently. Because the screen either worked fine or was black, we figured it was likely just a screen connection issue from when they replaced the battery.
When we brought it in as a possible warranty claim. They wouldn't honor it. "Google paid for the repair, so only Google could authorize the warranty work." They then jumped through fake-help hoops of "let me talk to my manager"; "well, maybe if you call Google, they'll authorize it."
All of the receipts said "covered by 1-year warranty" with no qualifiers about where payment for the first job came from, but they absolutely would not honor that.
To be clear: we didn't ask for anything special: Check and see if it's a loose/faulty connection issue; if it is, and the repair they did probably caused the issue, fix the connection, and it should be covered by their warranty. If they didn't cause it, then so be it; we'll pay the $60 or so. (The screen probably isn't bad since it worked fine, if it worked at all.)
They just said "Nope, sorry, not covered by our 1-year warranty promised on your receipt for the work we did."
I suspect that they don't cover much of their warranty work..their attitude was very much "it's always going to be something else that isn't our...
Read moreThis is by far the worst store. I'm not comparing other stores in their network, I'm talking about all stores in general, regardless of the products they sell. They never have parts for the phone. It's supposed to be 1 day turn around, and it is closer to one week or a month. They always have to order my parts because of the color of my phone. If I had a black phone they'd have parts. They say the phone is too new to have parts available for it, until they actually looked in their system. Turns out parts are available. Now, they don't have their Fold 6 guy available for 2 days because they're off. Meanwhile, they have several guys in back they could train on the Fold 6. They always have a reason why their service is extremely poor. They handled an issue with my Fold 5 the exact same way. Ended up sending it to Samsung who kept it for a month. All the while, I pay for the best insurance I can get to insure my phone can be fixed ASAP. I don't know if it's the company (won't let them stock parts) or the employees, but I'll find out shortly when I try a different store. I'm sure they're good if you have a Note 10 or Razor, but if you have the latest phone and it needs repaired ASAP, Good Luck, it won't happen. I think this is my 1st or 2nd negative review I've left. Generally, I don't like hurting any business. Life is hard enough these days, but someone needs to...
Read moreYour techs were great. I had no problem at all at the store. Store was clean. They were both very good reps for your company. Only real issue I had was the distance from home to the store. A samsung screen replacement is a bit more involved than I thought. Not an easy thing to come by, so not available in all locations. This was suppose to be a screen repair. They did all they could but the device wouldn't boot. Stuff like this happens I get. He spent extra time on it trying to get it working. Literally all day. Even drove to another store to try and get other parts. Unfortunately to no avail. But when I called you to get the replacement device, instead of pushing me to the foreground so the adjuster could approve the claim and I could get my claim submitted and on its way, the adjuster told the agent I was working with I had to wait. "He has to wait his turn. Rules are rules" I find this to be a huge slap in the face. As a business owner I rely on my phone to make money. This is not a teenagers phone to take selfies on with snap chap to post on Facebook. This replacement phone was not my fault. Your company broke it. It only had a small chip in the screen. It worked perfectly fine before I took it in for repair. Your procedure needs to be changed here. Business especially small businesses such as mine before a holiday rush,...
