I was very disappointed with my recent visit to the Grand Traverse Pie Company in Brighton. The energy from staff was very lowālittle eye contact, minimal acknowledgement, and no warmth in the interaction despite there being no other customers in the store.
I noticed I was overcharged even though a promotion was being advertised. When I asked about it, the cashier refunded the overage but simply placed the receipt on the counter without explanation. When I asked about the drink that was supposed to be included, I was told it was ācoffee only,ā which didnāt match the sign. I was then handed a cup without any direction on where to get the beverage.
Overall, the lack of attention, clarity, and customer engagement left me discouraged from returning. With so many other options nearby, I had hoped for a friendlier and more attentive service...
