Wong Express House — Restaurant in Brighton

I think I've found it... my new favorite spot in Michigan for low cost, high value Chinese Takeout. The location is a little bit out of the way if you don't live in Brighton, but even from 20 min away, I think I'll make the drive to pick up takeout from Wong Express House.

The menu is pretty standard fare for a Chinese Restaurant, and they have the usual appetizers/ entrees that you'd expect. The big differentiator is that the restaurant has maintained low prices, so the apps are only a few dollars each, and you can get the entrees in large or small sizes. I ordered Eggrolls, Wontons, and a small Chicken Fried Rice all for less than $15. The portions are quite solid, the Chicken Fried Rice would have been more than enough for a single meal in and of itself, and you get a good amount of food in the Eggrolls and Wontons.

Convenience and safety are things that a lot of folks are looking for in the time of COVID, and Wong Express House doesn't disappoint in these areas. They do offer curbside pickup, but you need to order online (phone orders not accepted as they only process payment inside the store). If you do curbside pickup, you can park in one of the designated spots near the storefront, and call into the store, they'll bring your order out to you. Otherwise, if you're just picking up a call in order, you'll go into a divided area of the store and pay directly there. The staff will open up a window and pass your food toward you. The team has put a lot of thought into this process!

Overall, I won't hesitate to recommend Wong Express House! For the price and convenience, it's a high value meal and...

We placed an order through GrubHub. I don't recommend GrubHub, after the food should have been delivered my wife called GrubHub customer service which seem to be answered in India and in the length of time it took to get through customer service I was able to drive to the restaurant where are they said the order had already been canceled and the GrubHub driver had already picked them up. They made me two fresh meals which were excellent,gave me a discount,a apologized profusely about the GrubHub service, and gaveagave me discount for the next order.Did you know if your on a diet they can steam everything? They can also put the sauce on the side. I have been ordering the same meal for years now don't think I've ever been disappointed as far as the person who left the review previously thats their prices were too high, I was shocked at how much extra it cost to order through GrubHub. I don't think the prices are high at all if you call and pick up or order in person and they do have a drive-thru. I would like to point out that their portions are very large and I always get two meals out of it keep...

( 4 months ago) Came back after 10 months, Good Food, but PLEASE when a customer orders Extra Spicy, give then at least Spicy or if your afraid they can't handle it, give them a container of hot oil for Free, PLEASE.

Bring the Heat Please when asked for.

( 1 1/2 years ago) Wanted to place an order today, went online and saw the New prices, WOW, way overpriced. Good food but not for what they now charge, I went some place else in town. To me, they have priced themselves out of my range.
