I’ve actually never eaten in here, but we’ve been getting takeout from them for years! It’s my favorite Indian takeout in our area! The garlic jalapeño cheese naan is to die for! Takeout is quick and they package everything up so easily and nicely. It’s also large portions so one meal is generally good for two meals for us so we can either split something or have another meal for lunch or dinner the next day. Some of my favorites are the Chana saag, chicken korma, or chicken curry. My husband loves the tikka masala or vindaloo. Only thing I would say, is that the medium spice level has been a little questionable lately! We used to get medium all the time and it was perfect amount of spice, we got it a while ago and it was so spicy we could barely eat our food and my husband said he couldn’t taste food after this for like a month! We tried it again a while after that and ordered mild and it was so mild, I actually had to add some spice to it. I’ve had medium a few times since then and it’s been hit or miss, either okay or really spicy where I need to take a sip of water after each bite to get through my whole meal. To give some relevance, we do like spicy food and both grew up in Arizona with a lot of jalapeños and spicy Mexican food, but we do like to actually be able to eat our food or taste it over the spice! Kinda wish it was either more consistent with spice or there was a level between mild and medium if medium is questionable. Otherwise, I really do love their food and will continue to keep getting takeout here despite the potential...

This place is fantastic!!! I have never really had Indian food before and I was so excited to see a place here that had great reviews. Tonight my husband and I decided to check out Fish Tail and boy were we impressed. The garlic Naan bread was fantastic. The sesame chip thing with the three dipping sauces were delish too. I had the Vindaloo chicken curry and my husband had the Honey Chicken curry. We got medium because we were not sure. It was spicy but not over powering. The flavor was pungent but not overwhelming. We will be visiting again. It may actually be my favorite place around the area! The portion sizes were good too and I took some home for lunch tomorrow. Hopefully next time I save some room for dessert. The service was great too and I appreciate that we didn’t feel rushed. Thank you!

Just something to keep in mind- order a cream based drink or something to have with your food. Your body will thank you the next day. Still worth it but...

Pleasantly surprised by this place. I did not know Yal and Yeti was gone, this one is definitely a step up. The staff is livelier and friendlier than the last one. We went for the week end dinner buffet and we got to sample a little of everything. They still had a la carte available for those who want that. The various sauces were all tasty and different from the next. I'm not a huge fan of Indian food in the US but this one doesn't try to overdo it and it's just perfect. And it's Brighton, you're either having tacos with a side of quesadilla or a quesadilla with a side of tacos. So this is a welcome variety. We don't have a lot of "ethnic" cuisine. One tip I'll give you, try to time it to when the fresh naan drops. That bread melts in your mouth with each bites. For those with alternative diets, they do have a variety of vegetarian dish, I did not check about strictly...

We ordered the Garlic Naan, Chicken Momo, Saag Paneer, and Vegetable Korma, all of which we asked to be “hot” for spice level. We were started off with a cracker-like appetizer with a variety of sauces to snack on. When the food arrived, the Momo came out first with a small bowl of reddish-white spicy dip, along with the Garlic Naan. We dipped our steamed dumplings in the sauce and immediately started dripping from the nose with the level of spice. My boyfriend and I have a rather high spice tolerance, and went through several napkins as we combatted our bodily fluids while consuming the creamy delicious spice of the Saag Paneer and the Vegetable Korma as well. I would definitely eat here again !! — though be well aware of what purpose of your spice level is for your meal. TBD how this will work out on the other end.

I really enjoy eating at this restaurant. The dishes are authentic, but are also 'Americanized' because the typical palate cannot handle how hot the dishes should actually be. I asked for the extra spicy, hoping that the peppers traditionally used in the dish would be used. It was spicy, but not to the level I was expecting. But look at the pictures! The food is beautiful. When my dish came out, it was sizzling and steam was billowing out. The Naan they serve is not your grocery store type. These are home-made and wonderful. It's too bad more people don't eat here. During the entire meal, only 3 tables were being used. The only issue I would bring up is a more updated look on the inside and better marketing. But really, this place is a gem.
