We really enjoyed story time! Covid has sucked the fun out of everything so theres no toys or anything like that anymore. But it's still a great library, as far as childrens books, which is our biggest concern since we have a printer and computer at home. I haven't needed any other services so I can't comment on those. The librarians are wonderful! So kind and helpful and enjoyable. We got library cards and checked out books and it was a great experience. Also the building looks new and is beautiful. They have a great selection of books considering it's such a small community. The childrens books are the entire first floor! Awesome! Plus, they are really making the most out of the situation with Covid, which is more than we can say for many of the other communities that I guess just expect people to stay in their homes for the rest of the lives. I won't go into detail about the Sandwich library only that it is ruled by the "can't do" and a slew of other not available, no no and no.
The Yorkville library is such a well built and organized library. The people that work there are the most helpful and friendly people. I love the quiet rooms. The room with the Kennedy rockers is fantastic. I take my three year old granddaughter there often. So grateful for the opportunity to show her quiet is the decorum/respect...
