This is a great park and baseball fields in Yorkville. While these fields are not lit, a concession stand is often up and running throughout baseball season. The dugouts have a shade covering for the players, but nothing for spectators. There are some stands for spectators round home plate. Most of the fields have temporary outfield fencing.
There is a library nearby as well as a recently updated playground for the kids about 200yds from the ball fields.

Read moreI visited for the Yorkville Hometown Days Festival. They had a car show with some really nice cars. They had a carnival, food vendors, craft and business vendors. Live music at a stage in the park. I saw American English, but they also had 7th Heaven and Hi Infidelity later in the day. There was alot of free available parking which was awesome.
