I ordered a 1/2 sheet pan of carrot cake for my mother's 70th birthday. I had honestly thought this was a different restaurant that I was ordering from so when I came in to pick up i was a little distraught that it wasn't the same place. Everyone there told me that the cake is amazing, in fact, they said that everything there was amazing. I trusted them- and we were not disappointed, the cake was moist, delicious and unbelievably heavy! I would recommend them a 1000 times over for their baked goods, especially the carrot cake. Can't wait to go back and try all the other food on the menu. Great job, you guys. Thank you so much, my mom was super happy

Great place...not clearly seen from the street. Hidden but definately worth the hunt to find. Service was friendly and efficient. The decor inside and out are elegant and pleasant. Great bar to sit at seperate from the restaurant. The view out the back window may easily explain why the building is set back where it was chosen to be placed. A beautiful view of a very large pond makes this very comforting. The food was excellent served perfectly as ordered. The menu is full of many choices and prices are reasonable. I would recommend everyone to scout this place out and give it a try

Our 1st time. My husband and I both really enjoyed it and look forward to going back. The soup of the day was shrimp and clam chowder soup and had a great developed flavor. The prime rib was perfect, yummy baked potato and fries. We ordered the strawberry shortcake which was the Best! It's more of a biscuit vs a shortcake which was actually better. It was a bit salty and that mixed with the strawberries and ice cream, wow. And our server Rob was very attentive and friendly. Wonderful date night.

On Good Friday after church we planned to go to Burnt Barrel. Unfortunately there was a long wait and we weren't feeling it, so we decided to cruise by Lakeview just in case it was less busy. We lucked out, people were leaving as we pulled in. This was only the second time I'd been there, but the first time was for an event, and I didn't eat. The atmosphere is nice, it's not super loud and tables are far enough apart that you don't feel like others are encroaching into your space. Our waitress was fantastic, I wish I had caught her name, I'm usually good about that, but it had been a long day...anyway, she was funny and engaging, and had a great personality. I stared at the menu...so many great options...I decided I'd go with a burger. I love a good burger! But I'm also very picky about them, I enjoy the taste of meat, I like it pretty rare and I do not like it over seasoned. I ordered it medium rare with American cheese, lettuce, onion and mayo. It came bedded on a brioche bun...They're truly the best with their soft, delicious sweetness. I have to say this burger was in my top 5 for sure, if it's consistent it could be in my top 2. It came cooked perfectly, when I say medium rare I'm knowing that it'll still cook a bit once plated and it'll end up in front of me a perfect medium leaning rare and that's exactly what I got. The texture and taste of the meat was exactly what I'm looking for, with no obvious taste of seasoning, but instead a perfectly cooked quality burger. I can't wait to go back, I'd like to try some other things, but that burger was so good that I don't know if I'll be able...

First, let me say we really like this place. Have been going there off and on for several years. Food, service and cleanliness of the facility always are excellent. The people are always friendly and welcoming and the overall value is excellent. Sooo… why 4 stars instead of 5? My wife and I were there yesterday for an early dinner. We have been doing “off times “dining to avoid crowds due to COVID concerns. It just so happened that there was a wedding reception in progress - actually just getting started as we soon figured out. People kept arriving, many WITHOUT MASKS. After a short time people began wandering out of their designated event room to the bar, the bathrooms, the parking lot, all thru the main restaurant. Many without masks. The management was kind enough to move us out of the main traffic area but people were walking pretty much everywhere – again – many without masks. We noticed a number of new arrivals (all for the party) arrive maskless and nothing was said to them by the people at the front desk. We decided to leave without eating. Much to their credit, management did not charge us for the bread or wine we consumed while deciding whether to stay or leave for safety sake. It shows they are a reputable organization, and I know restaurants are really struggling with the advent of this virus but I must wonder how many people were put at risk. There had to be at least 40 – 50 people in that room with a good number wandering all around the restaurant. We sure want them to succeed but at what cost? At least...
