This was my first visit. I was a bit disappointed. My sandwich was half the size of the box it came in. The sandwich was 4âx 2 1/2â. Yes, it was a half-sandwich. It was literally the smallest ciabatta bread Iâve seen. The day before I had a Paner@ bread ciabatta sandwich. It was cheaper than this one and bigger! With tax, my sandwich at Bakehouse was $15.40(no drink, no dessert; one small sandwich.) Now as I am biting into the sandwich I realize there is no Arugula. The sandwich is supposed to come with arugula. I called them back and they tell me you can come in for the $2 for their mistake. Then I found out they ran out of arugula. So if youâre making sandwiches and itâs supposed to come with arugula, then please tell your patrons that youâre out of arugula. I wouldâve ordered something else. The way the sandwich was described on the board was exactly what I wanted, unfortunately I did not get it. The sandwich came with mixed greens( instead of the arugula) that had maybe too much endive so it was not appetizing. Another thing, why are your sandwiches listed on the menu with no prices? I donât like to ask what the prices are for every single thing! You can write words, but you canât write numbers next to them? I went in to see what they had for a possible bridal party lunch. They had enough room and the place was cute. The people at the register were nice but a not interactive with customers. Well, I would be embarrassed to bring this bridal group of 5 into this place when the sandwiches are small and not tasty. Sorry to present this on google, but their website says that they âlove to hear from happy customersâ! Since I was an unhappy customer, I wasnât allowed to tell them directly via their website. My career involves serving food as well. I would have been embarrassed to serve what they gave me. My suggestion to the business: be honest, disclose your prices on the MENU, offer a competitive product including the portion and donât put mixed greens on the...

Danishes: By far, the standout for me. No matter the flavor, their danishes are always top-notch. The banana and chocolate danish we tried last time was my absolute favorite! Croissants: My wife is obsessed with their chia bread croissant, and I have to agreeâthey do croissants better than anyone else in the area. Cookies and More: We grabbed some cookies on our last visit, and they were just as amazing as the rest of their baked goods. Coffee and Atmosphere: The coffee is excellent, and the cozy atmosphere makes it such a pleasant spot to hang out. While I do wish they offered more whole loaves of bread, itâs a small thing compared to the incredible quality of everything else they make. Highly recommend Little Loaf Bakehouse for a weekend treat or any time youâre craving expertly...
Read moreI never knew this is what Yorkville needed until it opened. The owner of this bakery does an incredible job offering a wide variety of cookies, muffins, scones, croissants, and sandwiches for both breakfast and lunch. The flavors rotate which causes me to visit twice a week to make sure I get a sample of everything offered! The lattes are made with in-house created syrups. My favorite is a lavender London Fog latte, but you also cannot go wrong with whatever coffee special they have that week! I cannot wait for warmer weather so I can enjoy my pastry or breakfast sandwich and coffee outside in the gorgeous sunshine. Even my daughter lovea accompanying me to this shop, because she always finds a new treat to enjoy! This shop is truly an asset to the town, and I am loving getting to know the friendly faces of those who work at Little...
