First, I would like to say that my family and I have been going to Legends since we moved into the area in 2012. We have loved, the food, the service and the atmosphere until yesterday.
My husband and I went grab a bite to eat around 6:45 pm. The location was not busy and only had a few tables occupied when we arrived. We were seated quickly by the hostess and our server came by to take our drink order pretty promptly. She was personable and seemed to be a bit intoxicated. She took our order - my husband ordered a burger and I ordered, what I normally do, chicken Philly on a gluten free wrap. When she took my order and she repeated it back, it didn’t sound right but she promised it would be. Fast forward to our food coming out - my husband’s was correct and mine of course was wrong. I explained to her exactly what I wanted and told her only chicken, cheese, onions and peppers. She takes it back and remade the exact same thing…wrong. I asked another waitress if she knew what I was asking for and said OMG yes I know what you want. Took my food back to the back. Our waitress came back out and said that kitchen kept getting it wrong and it should be up soon. Need to mention my husband had his food already while mine still hadn’t come out correct. I thought for sure that the third time it was coming out it was going to be right and it was the SAME thing being delivered to me. I asked her if lettuce and tomatoes are supposed to come on a Philly because if that’s the case their menu needs to be updated. At this point, my husband’s food had been sitting thru for 30 minutes while she attempted to get my order correct. Which the last time was the last time I was going to wait for the wrong thing to be delivered. Could it be that she was intoxicated and couldn’t figure out how to put my order in on her Toast machine? I asked her to take it off, give us a box and the check for my husband’s food. BTW didn’t take anything off for the inconvenience of not getting to eat dinner or anything. The manager sat in the back corner of the bar on his laptop eating his food and watched mine go back 3 times and NEVER came over to talk to us. Needless to say, the place that my family and I have been going to for over a decade has unfortunately let us down. I cannot say that I will never go back but it will be quite awhile before trying again.
Lastly, with how expensive everything is in the world please, as previously working in the service industry, listen to your what your customers are asking for. My order was not difficult and I have ordered it...

What really sets this place apart, though, is the incredible management and staff. On a recent visit, the restaurant was packed on a weeknight, but the hostess was friendly and made sure we were seated quickly. Our server, Stacey, was not only friendly but also incredibly attentive, even though she was juggling a busy wing night. She really knows her stuff!
The manager, Jason, truly goes above and beyond. Not only does he oversee everything with precision, but he also took the time to come over and check in on our experience. When he found out we were celebrating my daughter’s birthday, he gathered some staff to sing to her—such a nice personal touch on a busy night!
Huge thanks to Jason and Stacey for making our evening extra special. Legends Yorkville is...
Read moreThe food was top notch delicious. The service was top notch despicable. I hate that a waiter/waitress can treat customers with such horrible customer service yet still get an automatic gratuity. Let me just say that I don't mind tipping for good/great service. Stacy was the worst. She would answer by saying, "What?" As if we were getting on her last nerve. It was 11 of us, and 5 of the orders were wrong. And Stacy had the audacity to have an attitude instead of being apologetic. Not one apology, just going back and forth with excuses. To add insult to injury, when we asked for the manager, he came to us with an automatic nasty, defensive attitude; he never asked how he could help us. I could go on about the bad customer service but I'll end it here. Will I ever go back? Who knows. I so hope Stacy works on her attitude and "Ron" the manager figures out how to be a better manager. Ron may or may not be his actual name. Needless to say, I'm very...
