I was cleaning out my baby's stuff since we had so much, plenty of NWT Carters items that just were never worn. Brand new book gift set etc. Summer and spring items, outfits, everything. Which they took all of that. I brought in a nearly full bag of items. I was hoping to get at least $25 (which is on the lower end for brand new items) for these items. They gave me just under $18. I understand the store has to make a profit but that's WAY too low and a real bummer especially for alot of NWT Carters items especially in this economy. They are going to at least triple what they gave me on the items I brought in. Again, I accepted due to the fact that I'm cleaning out and wanted some quick cash, didn't want to do the work of selling elsewhere right now, but in future I will not be consigning here or dropping off anything. I would recommend for shopping their racks were packed and full, but I didn't want to shop there today. Also they do not take items in reusable bags, which I didn't know, but they did take my items and said use a storage bin next time which was nice of them.
**Do not consignment or drop off here - very low ball offers for your items, you're better off selling on Mercari,...
Read moreItâs a completely hit or miss store. Yes they have some designer kids clothing, and they donât take in or sell clothes from Walmart. But it doesnât mean some of the clothes are not shrunk or true to fit. Be careful buying any denim here as itâs likely shrunk, same thing with casual kids t-shirts. Be careful buying certain kids toys here too because I bought my son a kids pair of walkie talkies and there was battery corrosion in them.. they had to be thrown out. They also are WAY too picky at times about what items they take in. I brought some things this week and they did take quite a bit and it was some fast cash in my pocket from selling to them but they are extremely picky and it can feel like a waste of effort. I brought in some gorgeous 3T-4T clothes all from Kohlâs, GAP, JCPenney and Gymboree and Iâm surprised that they didnât take certain items. Brought an expensive kids Gymboree jacket they didnât take it for what reason? I donât know thereâs nothing wrong with it. It definitely depends who is on shift looking at the clothes to buy back to see what you really get for it and what they take. Not a bad store all things considered but far...
Read moreWish I could give this review zero stars. This is based on the 90% off BYOB event I just attended. Donât bother going! If you regularly shop their 10 for $10 sale this is definitely not worth it. They only had two cashiers-on a Saturday-during this special event. What?!?! They had another girl at the door âgreetingâ but basically she was staring off into space. Should have been on a register! I found about 25 items, got in line and overheard several people at the front of the line yelling âitâs not worth it!â And believe me, itâs not. I waited in line for about 35 minutes and DID NOT MOVE an inch. No exaggerations. I literally did not move. People at the front of the line said they waited at least an hour and a half. Each separate clothing item was scanned individually. One by one. Slowly. And the cashiers were miserable and rude. I can tell you, Iâd rather pay a $1 for the same shirt rather than .55 cents and spend time with my family. Super unorganized and frustrating. The entire staff should be working on special days like these, and in this day and age of technology there is absolutely ZERO excuse for an almost...
