Star Jewelers — Attraction in Broken Arrow

I would recommend Star Jewelers for any type of jewelry and jewelry repair need. They are professional and have done a great job on my wedding ring both times it needed repaired. In addition to the repair, they have a beautiful selection of jewelry and, though I was not going to be purchasing new jewelry on this visit, the lady that helped my husband and I, (I cannot remember her name, sorry), was very friendly. We looked at an array of new wedding sets as we will be doing a vow renewal in 2025 and wanted to get some ideas of the styles out and the prices on them. Unlike some other stores, she did not financially judge us and only show us inventory within a certain price range. We looked at all prices from several thousands of dollars to a couple thousands of dollars. Ultimately, she showed us what we were attracted to and not what SHE THOUGHT we could afford.

Before you go to any chain store Jeweler, give Star Jewelers, a chance. I don't think you will regret it! BONUS: They are a locally owned and operated business!!!

I want to clarify what I mean by financially judging. I have been in many stores and treated differently because of my appearance. If I am wearing jewelry, makeup, have my hair styled, and my clothes are dressy casual and up, it is assumed that I can afford the inventory. If I am out having a care free, relaxing day with no makeup, hair pulled back, and wearing relaxed casual clothing, it is perceived that I cannot afford the inventory. Within a 6 week time period i brought in 2 diamonds and 2 white gold settings to simply have the diamonds set. With the first ring, it looked ok in the store but when i got home i noticed the prongs were kind of messed up, all different sizes, and very misshapen. I didn't complain because i didn't want to take my ring back in and be without it again. When i got my second ring back, as soon as i left the store i realized the prongs on that setting were not polished at all and almost black.. So i took both rings back at this point and explained the situation and the girl at the counter told me "They might be ready in a few days, but it could be a few weeks because he's pretty backed up on other projects".. Um, Ok.. But what other choice do i have at this point? Luckily they got both my rings fixed and were ready to pick up the next day which was very nice, but now, a few weeks later i'm looking at the first ring and realizing they did not re-plate the rhodium on the prongs and they are now yellow, while the rest of my brand new ring is white gold. Went into Star Jewelers to upsize a ring. I had called several other jewelry stores in Broken Arrow, Jenks and Tulsa before calling Star Jewelers. I spoke with Joe, and told him I wanted a same day service, for the ring sizing if possible. He said they would do their best and would call me when it was ready. (The other Jewelry shops I contacted weren’t able to do a quick turnaround,) However, Star Jewelers promised me the ring would be ready before they closed for the day!) It was New Year’s Eve and Joe told me the store would be closing early. He told me the ring would be ready in about four hours. It wasn’t. It was ready in only two hours! The Jeweler did a great job altering the ring and it fit my finger perfectly. The staff were all pleasant, professional, friendly and helpful. The jewelry at this store is beautiful! If I had more time to spare, I would have enjoyed looking around! The only downside was the cost of the ring sizing.
