I paid for the $30 month class offer, and the policy of doors only open 15 minutes before & 4 minutes after class starts was NOT listed in any information online. I do not feel that I am getting my money’s worth as there is VERY limited parking in the Brookhaven parking lot/deck. Also to add insult to injury the retail space only-towing enforced DISCOURAGES any potential Yoga clients, as it did myself, for fear of being towed while in a class that I already paid for & CANNOT attend.
This policy of not being able to enter 4 mins after class is very limiting to potential students—I was at the door (after having parked on level 2, run down the stairs to try to make it in time, when my phone said I was there at 1819 hours). How is this a practical business policy when you can’t even get your money’s worth & attend the class you paid for?? VERY unhappy with this business & its poorly planned practices. This does not reflect well for bringing in new business, new yogis, etc.
No one available to answer the phone or talk to when class is going on. No one is at the front desk. Calls are not answered. This tight timeline for entry into the studio is quite infinitive for any future clients. How are new clients supposed to find out information, see what is available, etc??
If reliable/dedicated parking spaces are not available for a business, how can clients attend? Would NOT recommend this studio/business to anyone I know. NOT a conducive environment to unwind after a workday…because they won’t even...
Read moreI started at Highland Yoga in January of 2024 and quickly surpassed 100 classes in about 6 months. When I first started it was just really cold outside and I was looking for something to do with some heat. The first class was horrible. I checked my pulse and was like "why would anyone do this, this is literally hell". I was so bad at it and kept looking at the door trying to decide if I wanted to leave but then we meditated at the end and got a cool lavender towel. I ended up going back the next day and the day after that and have been addicted ever since! Along with it being a workout and getting stronger my skin cleared, my body got used to the heat, I am less anxious out of class and it's one of the only workouts I get really excited to go to. Even my friends and family have noticed my happier demeanor. All the instructors are really friendly and there to help you improve and the classes change at least monthly so you don't get used to/bored of a routine. It is a judgement free zone in my opinion, and I really like going to the "all levels" classes because if you look around there are people doing handstands on the wall and people like me shaking during planks. There is also tons of social opportunities and special event classes all around the locations for anyone wanting to join deeper into the community. I would recommend Highland Yoga to anyone interested in growing their yoga practice and wanting to be part of a...
Read moreI have been an unlimited member at Highland Yoga for about 10 months now, and as of the time this review I’ve done 92 classes. I have really enjoyed going 3-4 times a week and have no plans of stopping!
Some key things I have enjoyed: Wide variety of class timing every day of the week Can attend classes at multiple studio locations In my own experience, classes and instructors have been generally inclusive of all bodies and experience levels Diversity of class atmosphere by instructor — all classes within a given category follow the same structure, but vibes vary (in a good way!) Availability of workshops and special events (for an extra fee) — I especially enjoyed the intro to yoga workshop in the first month or so I was at Highland Yoga. I learned tips to prevent injury and had lots of time to...
